Ridiculous, extremely poor and utterly useless customer service in credit cards. After settling the annual fee I'm out, no more business with this bank. Stay away for your own peace of mind!

TRAIN YOUR CALL CENTRE! One simple inquiry! "How to get a quotations for a car loan redemption without owning a fax machine to fax in the relevant documents?" 4 PHONE CALLS AND NO ANSWER YET! 1st call: Was told to press option 4 to reach the relevant department. After pressing option 4, to my shock I was picked up by the exact same guy! Not sure if you guy is just trying to push his work to another person or is just too lazy to entertain inquiries! Finally transferred to another girl. I asked where to drop the documents off if I dont own a fax machine. She told me you can only fax it in. I asked her once again, I DONT OWN A FAX MACHINE can I e-mail it in or hand deliver it. Put me on hold and hung up on me. GREAT! 2nd Call: Explained to the next girl what happened the first time and asked if I could have an e-mail to send in the documents or where to hand deliver it. Put me on hold and hung up on me again! GREAT! 3rd Call: Explained to another girl exactly what has been happening. She finally told me I could drop it off at a branch to get a quotation for my loan redemption. I just needed on final answer and I would be on my way not writing this frustrating review. " Will they give me a quotation for loan amount immediately? " AND GUESS WHAT PUT ME ON HOLD AND HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN! 4th Call: No answer all customers service office "EXTREMELY BUSY" / "LINES VERY BUSY". All these in the span of 25-40 mins and all calls previously were picked up pretty quickly. What a coincidence suddenly "all of SCB's customers" are having phone inquiries and the call center is flooded to the brim with NEW CUSTOMERS or existing customer FACING ISSUES that they cant pick up my call now. Wont jump to any conclusions about why my last phone call was not picked up. But the most obvious evidence right here is that your call center IS NOT INTERESTED IN ASSISTING YOUR CUSTOMERS! TRAIN THEM!

Standard chartered is the WORST consumer bank to use. We’re in 2021 but their user experience is lagging behind. Calling the customer service does not get picked up. Credit department calls me 5 times a day but puts down in 3 seconds. Honestly, it’s just spam calling at this point. I have had extremely poor experience with this bank (not staff, but the whole user experience) for months and it it extremely FRUSTRATING. If it is not a must to use standard chartered, move to OCBC or DBS where the experience is SEAMLESS. This deserves zero star.

Worse bank in the world. Blocked my card and they don’t know how to unblock it. Keep waiting for 3 months for payments. It’s exhausting to deal with them

The bank blocked my debit card without a reason. Called support asking to unblock it, and right after my request the bank support discriminated me by my nationality instead of solving the problem reported. Absolutely not professional and the discrimination is a crime.

such a lousy bank in the world. User out there sign their bank at your own risk! called the hotline and their hotline personnel can't even handle it. asked for high authority to call back. they say can't do it. what's the point of having hotline if they cant help at all. they anyhow charges user late fees to earn money.
