Judgement made based on feelings not on facts presented many times. How can any one have any more confidence in a justice system like that? I was not allowed to be upset when I was BLOCKED when contacted the respondent to be responsible for the damage caused by him. BLOCKED! If he did not cause that damage knowingly, why did he had to block me instead of talking it out with me? Not even asking "oh what happened?", just "not interested in this information" and BLOCKED me. And the respondent continued to use irrelevant matters as his evidence? Can a gynaecologist prove a pregnant woman has no bed bug bites? Can a storage company prove that a family has none bed bugs in their belongings stored with it? I had even contacted these two individuals who confirmed, first, does not check for bites on pregnant woman even if check does not know to determine what bites those are, second, do monthly pest spray control of storage facility thus if their belongings have bed bugs that got out of their boxes, they are killed off, and do not check for bugs like ants or spider etc upon clients vacating their storage unit. How ABSURD you would think for anyone who would go to this extend to evade responsibility as to use reports from gynae and storage company! Should I be blamed to get upset? Which normal human being facing such persons would not be upset? Is this not clear enough how respondent would do anything to evade responsibility? How much more upset I got actually. Do I have to show my tears to prove my months of stress? I admit that I had made unhappy remarks in my papers toward the respondent who caused me months of pain. My evidence also showed how many rude remarks he and his wife had made to me as their landlord. But certainly with a total of 6 pest control companies testifying that for a whole flat to get infested with bed bugs it got to take between 6 months to 1 year, you would think that that is so clear what factual events took place? How in the world could it even be remotely possible that my new tenant who lived there 7 weeks could have caused that? Judgement was then made based largely on my remarks made toward the respondent. So I was not allowed to be upset when I was wronged, but the judgement can be made out of being upset with me, now having released someone who caused damages proven having done so over and over again in the evidence presented, is this what we call JUSTICE now? I am a responsible person, I will pay what judgement I was handed down, yes I was wronged and then judgement made AGAINST a wronged party! I am so so so disappointed! Our justice system does not even provide for a second opinion. I hope my love for my country will not be diminished by its justice system that had so disappointed me.

Law is blinded by the book. It is too bad if you were wronged but was silly enough to not keep any evidence against the guilty person! Law has no logic! I had applied for a strong witness to be summoned to court but the court rejected my application and closed the case against my favour as there was no evidence found in writings to my favour. The guilty party who knows the law well enough could get away scot free! No justice was done but that's fine, all I have lost is just some money. God is watching and I believe in retribution! What goes around comes around! The guilty party has alot more to lose I'm sure!

In-efficient queuing system that is even worse than the public hospital, wasted 2 hours of my time and small claims Tribunals consultation was totally unprofessional.

For the architecture, functional and unobtrusive, soothing colors. Layout makes it easy to find way around. Higher floors have full length windows that give a panoramic view of the surroundings on a clear sunny day.

The old court building is amazing brutalist architecture. It’s imposing and powerful, yet elegant and balanced.

Haven’t been there for nearly 3 years and I was totally taken aback. Beside the Subordinate Courts is a huge high rise building and it’s connected to the court. It stands huge in front of me and I started to think why and what’s the purpose of this high huge building. Maybe I didn’t read the news about this development but I am pretty sure this building will be solely for purposes that involved the law. All around it are lots of Food courts and of cause a few shopping Malls such as People’s Park, Chinatown Point, OG Department Store and a few others. Also a walking distance to Chinatown. Most probably the old Family Court just beside it will close it doors and will be refurbished into well maybe a law museum ?that’s what the Singapore Government does. Refurbish and transform heritage buildings into either a museum or something that will attract tourists. Well let’s see what it will be soon...

Rated 5 for architecture experience. Beautiful warm wood colours next to the white framed exterior make this an outstanding example of modern architecture. Take your time to wander around from near or up high or from the distance to see how this building sits comfortably in its surrounding. The old state court next door is also worth photographing.

Decent and utilitarian. Serve the people well. After the 7 wonders of Singapore (a local friendly reference to some Civil buildings that uses expensive building material), this building has perhaps revert to a more acceptable humble look -- plastered white frame with vertical and horizontal screen.
