★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing service from the team. Covid restrictions made dining in as a group a chore but the team made effort to split the food between 2 tables. The lady boss shared how the buah keluak is prepared and how to eat it. The dishes are fantastic, but the assam ikan manis is a miss. Maybe can go for the other assam ikan in the menu.

We ordered chap chye, kush pie ti, ngoh hiang, chendol, 2x durian pengat. Everything is flavorful and tasty. We like the babi pong Tay $18, udang sambal $21 and ayam Buah kueh $23. Lemongrass drink has pomelo & pomelo jelly - nice. Since it is near cny, they have in house made snacks - arrowhead mushrooms with curry leaves & a tinge of spices. The kuehs are heavenly...
The staff are very friendly and they have service robots, quite cute.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ayam buah keluak - The flavour and texture of the buah keluak (3 pieces) itself was good. The chicken meat was not so - could be meatier and more tender.
Chap chye - Ok.
Otah - Not bad.
Beef rendang - Not bad, though the gravy was a little too sweet.
Lemongrass drink - Not bad.
Kuehs - Good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We chanced upon this restaurant via the entertainer app but were surprised by how good the food were! Our favourite has to be the buah keluak chicken. The beef rendang flavour was complex and rich but well-balanced. We also tried some kueh, very rich, authentic flavours. Service was very good. Definitely worth it.
