★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve to say the wine selection is great. I had the set lunch with a gf. I had the duck rillette for a starter which was great. For mains we both ordered the steelhead trout. I was given a sea bass. I asked the server and manager if it was a sea bass or trout at the end of the meal. The manager insisted it was a trout, said it was farmed and let back to the ocean and back to farm again. It was the lamest thing I have ever heard. Growing up in the states and Canada, trout fishing was one of my hobbies. I know my taste buds and for sure it was a sea bass. See picture of it below. I was disappointed with the meal especially with such high google reviews I went with high expectations but was utterly disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very homey, cozy space in the middle of hustle bustle Telok Ayer CBD area.
Great service, the waiter understands the menu really well.
Haven't tried it yet but she recommended going there for lunch as they have some value for money 2-3 dishes set courses. Also the most popular dish is the Crab meat pasta.
We tried their cheese and cold cut platters and house wine. Their Pinot noir house wine was super good, unbelievably smooth. Very worth the price. Also their honey glazed brussels is good as well.
Will come back. They have outdoor seating too if you prefer outdoor seating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a little hidden gem! Did not expect myself to like this place as much as I did. Stepping in, I will admit that the vibe was too casual for my liking. However, the food and the service received here from their charismatic staff really blew me away. We ordered their prawns, burrata, padron peppers and crab pasta. Every dish was absolutely lip-smacking without being too pretentious. The crab pasta was wonderfully al-dente and the broth was delicious ! We had a nice bottle of red to go with our food. Consider me a fan! I cannot wait for my next meal at La Fête again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a place that i will revisit again. La Fête is a charming and cozy restaurant located in the heart of Telok Ayer street offering a premium selection of delectable French cuisines and wines. Great food and Value for Money. Definitely worth a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food and wine place to hang out with friend. Allow up to 2 bottles of wine you can bring yourself with 2 bottles ordered. The range of wines is quite extensive at decent price. The food was great to pair for any wine you want .. ordered the pan fried foie gras, lamb rack, beef steak, grilled octopus are few must try. The seafood spaghetti was just okay.. great service and lots of wine for just 3 of us especially when night gets longer..! Great service and ambience to chill on weekend .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Agree with the other reviewers that this is a great cosy find along the busy street! Small place but lovely and lively dishes! Had the octopus, lobster and scotched egg for appetisers and they were awesome! Can feel the love and pride from the plating. Really well done. The crab pasta was good but slightly underwhelming - the roe was salty so probably not as fresh as it could be. The steak was perfect though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fine dining in a casual setting. That’s how I feel throughout the meal here. Not only the food looks stunning when they are served, they are simply delicious. The staff is extremely friendly, and kept asking for feedback on the dishes. Overall it’s a very pleasant environment for that peaceful evening to dine and “wine down” with your loved ones.
