★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sultan Mosque ? -
Locality at Muscat Street in the middle of Kampung Gelam, the Malay Heritage District, Singapore. ??
It's a historical and oldest mosque in Singapore, calm and serene which's still function. Also known as Masjid Sultan among local peoples, a prominent mosque in Singapore and one of the country's most impressive religious buildings. ?
Sultan Mosque surrounded by many eateries @ halal foods from the difference cultures and tastes. Built in 1824-1826 during the Malay Johore Sultanate's era and was named after Sultan Hussain Shah. It's gazetted as a national monument in the year 1975. ?
Worth seeing the typical design combines several architectural and should be preserved with its massive golden domes and huge prayer hall that can hold up to 5,000 worshippers. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The arab street is a very beautiful street that leads to the Sultan Mosque (unfortunately closed to the public during this covid period except for the muslims of the mosque). There are many turkish restaurants and souvenir stores. One would believe oneself in Aladdin ! The tour is however relatively quickly done but it's still so beautiful that it's necessary to stop there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing mosque that is surrounded by Arabic food and culture. Extremely walkable from the train. Lots of food and drink options and more than enough places to take photos around. They have a prayer. Chill bringing to sit and listen to the prayer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You have to bring your own prayer mat or else they don’t allow you to go in. Visitors are still not allowed to visit. You can definitely find many halal restaurants around the mosque. Can take a walk to Haji Lane also.
