★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not for sightseeing, not for the ordinary traveller but the first time you get to see Sultan Shoal Lighthouse you'll be in awe for this tiny island popping up amidst the tens of mighty monsters at anchor in the Temasek fairway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ How can we visit or even see this lighthouse, could anyone advise please. Google maps suggest that the nearest land point is jurong island but I don’t think the public is allowed onto jurong island without some valid reason /pass?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've never visited this light house. But the Singapore Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) did conduct a few lighthouse tours for the public on very special occasions. Otherwise Sultan Shoal Lighthouse is out of bounds to the public. In January 2022, the MPA announced that tours to another lighthouse just South of Pulau Senang, the Raffles Lighthouse at Pulau Satumu, will be conducted every second and fourth Saturdays of each month from February 2022 onwards. Tickets at S$58.85 (excluding a booking agent's fee) are available at the MPA website. Participants must be 18 years and above and fully vaccinated against covid19. Student (above 18 years old only) tickets at S$32,10 are also available for students enrolled in a public or private educational institution in Singapore. Student pass must be presented at the tour, else will be rejected and not allowed to join in the tour.
