More affordable than most other shops

Sunny is the friendliest, most honest store owner you'd ever meet. Been coming to this place for years and I really trust his recommendations.

I bought my contacts from Sunny in November 2018 because they sold the same brand I had been wearing for 10 years but cheaper. I experienced infection after infection whenever I wore them. The first month I believed i had mishandled them so i threw them and opened a new pair. The second month I got another infection, and i thought maybe it was because of my contact lens solution being too old, so i threw the contacts and the contact lens solution. I purchased contact lenses from another shop and tested them. Whenever i wore the contacts I bought from Sunny’s my eyes would pus within a few hours. When i wore the other shop’s the next day, it would be fine, so it wasn’t my eyes - it was the contacts. Upon checking i realised that the contacts were manufactured in 2013, almost 6 years ago. When confronting the shop, i was only able to get a refund for the unused contact lenses and not the ones that were wasted and had to be prematurely thrown away. The girls at the shop (who have diplomas in optometry fron Singapore Poly) claimed i couldn’t get a full refund because i had thrown the box and made a lot of excuses instead of simply being apologetic. The same girls are also allowed to do tests for your eyes, which they did for me. I’ve since done eye tests in shops in Palais Renaissance and I can say that their testing is not thorough. I thought I was simply purchasing contacts of the same degree and same brand which I had been using for over 10 years so there would be no difference. My infections were so bad at one point in the past few months my vision often got blurry and another night i could not open my eyes because the pus from the infections had crusted both my eyelashes shut. I don’t think it was worth the money saved to have gone through this ordeal and have learnt my lesson to go to more reputable and qualified sources for my contacts.

Sunny and his staff have been helpful and friendly towards myself and my daughter. The price he gave is the best in the market for my daughter high degree near 2000. And the kids frame he bring in alot of pink for my daughter to choose.
