★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally tried the famous Tai Wah pork noodle recommended by friends. First day opening at Hougang Green.
My pork noodle takeaway turns out to be *VERY* salty, as if I was given 2-3 portion of the sauce/salt. This is the same for both takeaway noodles I had. For benefit of doubt, the sauce and cook was just changed before my turn. To be fair, the other ingredients taste good actually, so that's a real pity.
In addition, I have queued for 70 mins as I'm the 20th person in queue, so that's average of 3-4 mins per person. For this quality, I'll definitely not queueing for it again.
I did saw the original owner and the younger boss there observing the stall. I hope they can really step in to ensure the consistency and protect their brand. I hope this is due to their first day of operation and will improve along the way. Will probably try again some weeks down the road if I had the opportunity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the $9 signature to see what's up for the very first time.
The Good.
- Accompanying the dry noodles, the vinegar and chilli tastes good. Really good.
- they are very generous with the minced pork and pig liver.
The so so la.
- the pork soup is very bland. I'm happy it's not salty but sad at the same time that it's got not enough pork bone stock.
- the pork balls and minced meat does not have seasoning and is plain 7:3 meat to fat ratio like burgers.
- the wonton aren't good tbh.
The bad
- not worth the $9 unless you love eating lots of liver.
- quite a high cholesterol meal here. Pork soup, pork crackling, pork liver.....
- lost at how to eat the deep fried fish crisps. do I eat it with the vinegar sauce? Do I eat it with everything?? Do I use it as a palate cleanser at the end???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Michelin guide cannot trust one la guys, I rather eat ming fa or other neighborhood one any day. Soup is super water down machiam I boil the pork inside the water for 5 seconds then take out. Literally water plus light pork taste. Noodle can't compare with mingfa or feisiong. Super poor. Michelin is based on Ang mo taste only. Never patronizing again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nope, absolutely nope. Twice i ordered from them delivery, always the liver came undercooked. The orders were 2 months apart, nothing has changed, but today was the limit. I love the noodles from the original store, but this is too much. If you're happy to get Hepatitis E from undercooked pork liver, go ahead. Never ordering again. EVER.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very tasty bowl of pork noodles. Every mouthful bursting with flavor. A variety of ingredients that go well with a bowl of springy noodles. Just simply well done! ??
I’ll try the soup version the next round ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the Signature ($9) and Normal ($5). Difference is the amount of ingredients. Liver had that thick and tender taste which was nice. Pork slices were tender and nice. Sauce had that strong vinegar taste. Crunchy fish flakes and not that salty. Soup could have a stronger taste. Not that spicy when we went for it. Need a good mix before eating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Noodles were a little salty, and for S$9 damage at a neighbourhood coffee shop, they were pretty generous with meat balls, dumplings, liver, "ti por" and crispy pork lard. Soup... A little bland, maybe will get better at dinner time

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The noodles tasted salty which meant the sauce wasn’t very well mixed. Ingredients are generous, but I got the $9 to try out and the normal small version later on and my conclusion is anyone ordering the more expensive version may feel cheated. Liver was cut in special way, fried sole fish gave it a special taste but wasn’t well integrated. I think the stall owner need to rectify his taste more or he will lose customers or worse the brand.
