โ โ โ โ โ Love the kopi o poh... not too thick nor too thin. Some places when asked for thin, they give u longkang water. Absolutely no taste but kopi o po is just nice for me. Normal kopi o would have been too bitter.

โ โ โ โ โ One of the cleaner uses his bare hands to squeeze the excess dirty water off the mop then after which goes on to clean the table without even washing his hands... I dun understand why they are not using a drainer for the mop.
It is just so disgusting and unhygienic which makes me not wanting to patronise this coffeeshop...

โ โ โ โ โ Hougang oyster is famous, but the other stalls are also good. This mixed vegetables rice shop is simple and serves delicious dishes. Nice little coffeeshop in the middle of HDB blocks of Hougang- in Any Mo Kio GRC, opposite Punggol Park.

โ โ โ โ โ I absolutely enjoyed the mee goreng from King Omar prata hut! Delicious! I had no idea that such delicious Indian food can be found in Hougang! They add perfectly cooked meat, potatoes and the taste of the masala is fantastic!

The tea and coffee is much better here then most coffeeshop. As usual, the 2 famous stall here, hougang oysyer and tian sin vegetarian always has a queue, with the vegetarian stall having the queue long and out of the coffeeshop when it is 1st and 15th of the lunar month

Like a mini beer joints from late afternoon with most of the outer tables reserved. Can see 4 to 5 beers ladies promoting their beer brand. Not so great for customers who are there for food cause usually not many tables available as mostly taken up or reserved for beer drinkers and they can hogged the tables for hours
The noodle stall at the corner same row as the drink counter, the lady is friendly. Noodle not too bad

โ โ โ โ โ The coffee shop is awesome. They have the best fried oyster , char kway teow , ban mian , jiao Zi, vegetarian food. However why is there only a 3 star rating?
BECAUSE the economic rice is bullsh*t .. firstly the portion is ridiculous and the pricing is "atas' pricing. Best part is the staff is jealous lol. They are jealous of the vegetarian food stall for having so much crowd and queue is crazy. So a few times they find trouble with the stall helpers by going and trying to pick a fight with the stall. Poor vegetarian stall only has female staff and maybe 2 male staff. So they are 2-4 boorish males and big sized. So they haul vulgarities at the stall Infront of customers probably trying to convince them to come over and eat their food instead.
Maybe the coffee shop management should do something about it. And regular patrons who always head to the coffeeshop should watch out for this stall.

โ โ โ โ โ Please never patronise this shop. Food is below average and the dishes are salty. Probably the pathetic small serving is the saving grace for the bad food. Price is extremely high. $5.80 for this 'economic' rice at the heartland area.
