β β β β β The fluffiest pancakes and dreamy egg coffee ?
Weβve ordered the Pork and Chicken Katsu Don at other outlets before and we were surprised by how bland the ones were at this outlet. The patty was well-seasoned, but the rice has no taste at all, like it was simply wet, coloured rice.
Thankfully, the rest of the meal was absolutely delicious. I tried the Soboro Kimchi Dry Udon and the flavours were well-balanced with notes of spice, soy sauce and creamy yolk!
The Vietnamese egg coffee is a superb rendition of a treasure and weβll definitely order this again. Known for their pancakes, the Tiramisu Pancakes was perfect!
To make up for the lacking Katsu Don, the manager kindly offer us the Black Sesame Panna Cotta! Would have given 4 stars, but the manager and the friendly service staff got an extra star for their wonderful service.

β β β β β Lunch set is price decently. However beef steak is super tough. The eggs tasted good .. sauce isnβt to my liking as well. Seafood medley is acceptable.

β β β β β Was not blown away by the pork katsu sando. Taste was mediocre and we were sad that the egg yolk was almost fully cooked through, unlike the menu picture where it still looked quite nice and runny. The potato quality of the furikake fries did not feel very good, or it could just have been that they seemed to be soaked in oil. The white bread of the sando had also taken on some of the oil taste.
Perhaps most disconcerting was that the base of the egg white in the sando had black stains on it. Not sure what could have caused it but didn't look appetising.
The egg coffee drink was alright.

β β β β β I've visited Tamago-En restaurants quite a number of times already, and I rarely get disappointed with the food. The staff at Tamago-En Suntec were also very friendly and provided great service. Would definitely come back, if not this store, other stores in City areas.

β β β β β Value for money and service is swift and excellent. Special thanks to Lynn for her initiative and kind help as we required for 2 separate tables as a family of 7 with children and a toddler.
OCBC cardholders also enjoy a 10% discount upon spending of $50~60. We quite love the omu rice and tamago stick that taste like a okonomiyaki!!

β β β β β We ordered the oyaki dashi maki don and salmon ikura, as well as a drink and a berry soufflΓ© pancake.
Oyaki dashi maki don: Bonito broth is delicious, strong but subtle enough to last you happy throughout the meal. Udon is al dente, or in other words, just nice. The tamagoyaki is ok and nice, but the combination together w/ the udon and the broth makes it delightful.
Salmon ikura: Delicious, portion just nice, but lacking texture (if you like entirety of a bit of just fluffy fluffy stuff, maybe you'll like this a lot).
The berry soufflΓ© pancake: We're used to the one at hoshino cafe, where the pancake has a "body", not so crumbly and eggy, the maple syrup is much stronger as well. However, this one has its own attractiveness: it's super eggy and crumbly, the maple syrup is more on the subtle side and its cream sweet which somehow complements it. The berry (strawberry), 2 of them cut in smaller pieces, were sour enough to tone down the sweetness. Quite good, I'd say.

β β β β β Cute restaurant with egg decorations (check out the lights!) and tasty food! The souffle pancakes took the crown for besh dish for it's extremely fluffy and melt-in-your-mouth texture. Omurice with steak was above average, and the Oyakodon had a sweet taste profile that mixes well with the silky texture of the egg, topped by really soft and tender chicken chunks. The tamagoyaki had 5 different flavors which made a fun dish, and the seaweed flavored one was the best. Staff was friendly and helped to remove seafood from the dishes. Definitely will be back!

β β β β β Pancake was fluffy. I prefer more solid ones but the kids loved it.
Egg cloud rice (?) was worth trying. The egg whites, beaten into the rice gave it an interesting texture. Hard to describe but like eating light, sparkling rice.
Unagi-don and egg mayo sandwiches were normal. Not outstanding nor bad.
The coffee with egg yolk and caramel was great. Worth a try, if you like caramel coffee and/or eggnog.
Had some egg on stick thing too, which was alright. I loved the ginger taste, but the egg made it hard to eat. I can see people disliking the ginger taste though.
