TamJai SamGor Mixian City Square Mall

We order 2 clear soup noodle and 1 tomato noodle, all noodles come out taste super salty. We are not the only customer that complaint about the salty. In our meal time we heard a few other customer have a same issue. The restaurant staff just add in some hot water to diluted the taste. Overall bad experience.

Tried this place for the first time and the noodles were great! The mala soup base tasted healthy and less oil, despite the spicy level. Fish balls was nice but tasted vacuumed packed. Tomato soup base was so-so. Chicken wings were nice. Chong Qing Crunchy cucumbers tasted great. The milk tea tasted strange, so will probably never order again. Will definitely come back and order the mala soup!

譚仔三哥米線 (TJSG) TJSG HK was recommended in Michelin guide. Decided to give it a try after watching a HK YouTuber’s recommendation. The restaurant at City Square is quite new and instgramable. The uniqueness of TJSG is that it is customisable. It allows you to choose soup base and add your preferred toppings (different pricing). We opted for 过桥米线酸辣汤Guo Qiao (Suan La) which came with 16 toppings to share. It was S$16.10. The best part was no GST and service charge. The soup was awesome and tasty. The Guo Qiao noodle soup came with pickle (酸甜莱) which was very appetising. The sauce (北方瓣酱) for dipping it with the toppings, enhanced the flavours of toppings. I suggest that you order Guo Qiao for sharing by two, if both of you are not big eaters. You not only save money but also save the trouble to order toppings and have the best of 16 toppings! Will definitely revisit to try the spicy soup base. Thumbs up.

1st trying this restaurant because it was not so crowded. Heard about it on social media. Interesting because you can decide what ingredients to add on to the noodles with soup base of your choice. We had mala, suan la and the non-spicy. The non-spicy tasted like usual fishball soup but of course the difference is the mixian (noodles) which is very nice. What I like about the suan la and mala is that you can choose the spice level (i cant rem but there are more than 5 levels?) I chose the super spicy level and indeed it didn’t disappoint and I enjoyed it very much. As for the suan la, the feedback I got from my family member who doesnt really enjoy herbal stuff mentioned that it smelled and tasted of 药材 (medicinal herbal) but he enjoyed it nonetheless. The soup base starts from $6+, with the chosen ingredients added (about 3types) each bowl cost from $10-$11 plus. I would definitely return again to try out the different soup bases and spice levels.

Newly opened shop and went to check it out. Love the mala soup base. Was pretty good and boss was nice. Anyways the restaurant made a mistake in our order and gave us two free bowls. really appreciate good service. thanksss

Realised I actually ate this in Hong Kong before. Portion is so generous even when I ask for less noodles but still couldn't finish. Tried the tomato base and put spicy level but don't have any spicy taste. Advise is not to order too many ingredients as the portions are big.

I'm so glad they opened one restaurant here at City Square mall! Love their noodle. Customizable! Inexpensive!! No frills

Went there with no expectations, however, the noodles there were really good. There are different spicy level that you can choose. More than 8 levels, if I’m not mistaken. Ordered the milk tea and the tufei chicken wings. The chicken wings were a little on the salty side. But overall, this place is worth a try.
