Very rude and arrogant. I was just asking why are their prices twice more than others, a shoe cabinet for $3500? He then replied me to go to the other one then. Phew lucky I know now.

Team was very professional in handling my enquiry. They are not that kind of sales team that pushes you to engage their service. But instead, they took the time to understand what's your need & find solution to resolve your issues. Kudos to the team!

We used Tan Carpenters for multiple jobs due to excellent work quality. My father is a perfectionist and we'd never get them back if he didn't think the work was anything but perfect. For my redesigned living room and dining room, I had so many compliments. I'm sure that when it's time to work in the other rooms, we'll see more their team who are a joy to work with.

After looking at their website, I thought I'd give them a try. It's still ok at first as it's mainly to work out a draft for the shelf. Before making the payment, I did ask them if the end product turns out to be different than expected, would there be any additional cost to make the new changes. I was told that they will build the product based on the draft. So I made sure the draft have all the right measurements etc. On the day that the product is supposed to be ready, they sent me photos of the final product, I then realized it looks somewhat different to what I have on the draft. I brought it up to them requesting to have some parts to be adjusted. I was then told that alterations requires additional $100. I explained to them that the final product is not the same as what I have on the draft to begin with and I requested for additional information on the product. That's when they went MIA on me, they have clearly read the messages that I've sent on WhatsApp but no reply from them. This went on for a few days. I would not wish for someone to have the same or worse experience as mine so perhaps it's worth looking elsewhere for your carpentry jobs. It’s not much of a customized furniture when they don’t even get it right There’s definitely a difference in response time before making payment vs after. Expect replies to be a few days late or none at all especially when you’re chasing for your delivery. The final product looks fine upon arrival, only when I started using the item did I notice a number of construction faults which made the ease of use less enjoyable.

I had the same experience as Jacqueline. Emailed them a scope of work 7 days ago and till now no reply. They are like not interested to do business.

Lousy Service. I email them to quote for carpentry works, no response for 1 whole week. I message Jeff Lam to request the same and he say they do not deal with designers and main con..... My goodness, I am a home owner and just want to do some add on. I will NEVER USE Tan Carpenters, lousy service. Do not put enquiry contact in your website if you do not intend to do business. Waste of my time!!!!!! If you do not have manpower, rather than waste customer's time enquiring, put in your website rather than collecting contact numbers
