Im a regular customer from last 4 years. TLM have a bad sales person few years back. Now they had better and honest service support. I had sent my car for abnormal sound at rear due to wheel bearing issue. The mechanical found oil leak at my engine area and highlight to me,and even check engine oil and topup without any charge. Reasonable price and friend staff.

Referring to their subsidiary CITY-LUX PTE LTD a car leasing company. AVOID AT ALL COST! We had prior business dealings with their parent company Tan Lim motor and rented their vehicle for 3 months for convenience sake. Biggest mistake as we experienced the worst nightmare from the lady boss Patricia and Suzanne the admin girl. 1) Bullying act. We have paid first 2 months rental to City-Lux in full. But that is not without being spoken to in rude, hostile manner. They acted boastfully like they were the ONLY car rental company in Singapore. 2) Upon the 3rd month of rental, the lady boss Patricia suddenly decided to change payment term and wanted to collect full month payment before month end. Meaning they want us to pay in advance. It is not a request but we were rudely demanded. 3) On their first phone call to me they started to accuse us that our payment was LATE, when we HAVE BEEN paying only on the last day of the month for past 2 months payment?? This is something unexpected and caught us by surprise. 4) Unreasonably demanded payment to be in CASH 5) When we finally obliged to pay it her way, she then changed again, making things difficult by wanting to collect back the car immediately and charge us a premium instead of following the agreement to rent till month end. 6) Patricia called but REFUSED TO LISTEN to our reasoning and STARTED YELLING and stereotyped woman calling me names with no basis?! She later hanged up the phone after her ranting. 7) Her admin girl Suzanne was equally rude and unreasonable when she called us. I told her I will check on the invoice and revert the next day but she refused to put down the phone and started accusing us that we delayed her payment with no basis!? I have repeatedly said I had another line waiting but was totally ignored. Later she accused us of not answering her phone?!? 8) When their elderly male boss stepped in, we finally came to agreement to pay and return vehicle on 22nd may, they later changed again and demanded payment in advance by coming friday. This is a company who kept flip flopping their terms according to their wishes and do not consider about their customers. Simply unprofessional. This uncalled treatment was rendered to us despite us having business dealings with their parent company Tan Lim Motors and has referred customers to them. We are very disappointed that has not been put into consideration and even currently City-Lux still do not think they have any fault at all to treat customers this way. No word of apology was mention even if we are paying customers! This is an old company with no sense of "real" world, delusional and no customer service, There are TONS of car rental companies out there who provide MUCH better service and cost. They caused MUCH DISTURBANCE and INCONVENIENCE. SIMPLY UNPROFESSIONAL. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Service in Tan Lim Motor was prompt, speedy, friendly and very reasonably priced. For a normal car servicing, I was able to drop my car at their workshop around 9 am and collect my car before noon. This was great for my schedule.

Friendly and reasonably priced. Sprayed painted my bumper. Able to match color accurately.

Friendly, knowledgeable and honest people. I feel absolutely comfortable to let them fix my car cos they will do what's needed and put customers interest first. Definitely the workshop to go to. Highly recommended. 6 stars.

I sent my car for repair in June this year after getting involved in a small accident (my mistake & hit another vehicle on the rear). The boss Uncle Tan was extremely helpful & helped me negotiate with the other party and offered them to come over for free assessment on the damage. Fortunately the other vehicle was not really damaged & the owner managed to touch up by themselves. My car was fixed by Tan Lim Motor nicely and timely. Everything was fine now. Good job! Special thanks to Uncle Tan and his team! Highly recommended with 5 stars!
