Cool terrace with a view and nice surroundings (golf). All with reasonable prices for Singapore. Food is pretty basic though. Stick to the local dishes, international fare is cheap frozen products. Even the fries are average!

Good club. The Chinese restaurant is very good and I have a foreign guest that like the food here very much. They use to serve excellent sharks fins but now no more. More and more we surrender to tree huggers but that is life if you don't want to be flamed. Nevertheless there are other good dishes.

I was there last Saturday evening (20/02/2021) at the invitation of friends. We dined in the Chinese Restaurant and my experience this time was much different from the few occasions I was there before. The 'Lo Hei' was 'enriched' with dry fruits, dry melon and the like stuffs; making the dish very, very sweet. There were very little vegetable in it. The Oyster and Roast pork, braised with lettuce was cold when served to our table. The dry Oysters were very big in size and smelled quite 'fishy'. The only main dish that tasted well was the steamed Garoupa in light soya sauce. What annoyed me was the appearance of the so-called chief chef while we are eating. The chefs, as far as I knew, do not appear at the dining hall unless he or she is specially invited by the dining guests. We spoke with him nevertheless, just for a few short moment. The desserts were only so-so at this restaurant. Unless the cooking improves, I do not think I will dine there anytime soon, especially when I have to drive a long way there from my home.

Just a reminder that food left or cooked by chefs are now confirmed and considered not very safe to consume . This F & B industry kicked off with a very modest complaint and lately scooped off with many pollutants around this area of concern. Especially so when there are so many overseas visitors near here.

Extremely helpful staff, especially the security team at the gate are super friendly.

On 14 November 1978, the ad hoc Committee of Tanah Merah Country Club (TMCC) met for the first time to appoint golf course designers and clubhouse architects. The landmark meeting paved the way for the Pro-Tem Management Committee, which was formed in 1980, to oversee the ongoing development of the Club course and facilities.
