Best Hawker stall in Singapore

A	Angad Singh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely delicious food. Even though i am a meat eater i go back regularly to eat here. . An amazing vegetarian stall. They have all the usual fare of mixed veg rice. Their specials like wantan Mee, chicken rice and kuay chap are excellent. They also do a wonderful mee siam on sat mornings. Sweet kueh and fritters are also sold along side. Lunch time ques can easily hit 15 to 20 mins. Service is prompt and friendly. Been a patron for about a decade.

Have heard good things about the chicken rice. Need to take note what the specials for each day are. This place also serves decent kuehs.
S	Sheron T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited Tanaka Vegetarian at Fajar Shopping Centre on Sunday ~12nn. Queue was usually long during peak lunch hour. What irked me the most was how my order was packed. Depends on who serves you, it can either be double or single paper wrapped. Unfortunately, this woman (in late 40s to early 50s) chose to single-wrap my order (rice slathered with double curries ie mutton & vegetable). The whole packet was soaked with curry leaking to the kitchen floor when I tried to transfer it to a bowl. Very annoying mess! Do request for them to double-wrap your food if the dishes are wet.

Before that I noticed there’s short of one package and told the auntie that’s only one packet in the plastic bag. She took my plastic bag back and I thought she’d added one more package so I didn’t check when she passed me back the plastic bag and I had bought other food she put it in the same bag as well. Felt cheated. How can do business in this way?!

Honestly, they service a variety of food vegetarian food and the portion can be big and the food is flavourful too! Overall, it is nice, but I will never join that 15-mins long queue. I will eat it only when the queue is "bearable"
