★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fish Meat Ball were pretty good. Just found the noodles and the other item a tad average. Something to try but I would not queue for it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Noodle was cooked perfectly and well seasoned with chili and vinegar. Generous amount of bean sprouts which gave it crunch in every mouthful.
Soup was flavorful, accompanied with fishball which was well seasoned, pork ball, fish cake and fish dumpling and special meatball. The latter was excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a so call signature fish balls noodles. Like their chillis mixed. The fish balls are probably hand made? Special meat balls & dumplings are normal. The flat noodles are over cooked, become soggy. Soup is sweet. $4.20 for a bowl is consider above average. Not sure why the need of $0.20.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is becoming a luxury here for one to randomly choose a hawker stall without any prior reading of Google map's reviews and yet still get to enjoyed the meal. So I came, I chose, I ate and I went off - happy and satisfied!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At Tanjong Pagar Hawker Centre, if you come on a peak lunch hour weekday, the longest queue would be this Teochew Fishball Noodles, among others. I tried and I knew. Three times I visited and couldn't fit the queue to match my appetite. Today on a Saturday late lunch at 2pm, 5 depth queue and quite bearable. $3.50 basic bowl gets you a nice bowl of Mee Kia dry with a pile of Minced Meat, and a separate bowl of soup with multiple offerings which included 3 kinds of fish balls and fishcake slices. There's fresh cut chilli's and tang cai for your self service. Ordering is prompt and every bowl of noodles take around a 3 minutes wait. On picking up my noodles, the lovely lard bits were calling out to me. Itadakimasu! Tucking into the noodles, mind you, it is a well executed bowl of Mee Kia, but, it can use a little more lard oil, a little more vinegar, and a little more hae bee chilli and shallot oil and they would rival the Michelin ones. Gets a little dry near the end as simply a little short on the sauce mix. Soup was nicely fishy but gets salty if you stir in the tangcai unfortunately. Probably shouldn't make the tangcai a seperate option when making the soup. Lastly the fish cake slices were terrific, as were the super bouncy fish balls, meat balls and meat balls with vegs. Provides for texture and depths in the different fishball offerings. If they have her keow they probably can match the legendary Song Kee, Sans the hour long queue. Still they hold they own at this hawker centre, providing value comfort food in a nice bowl of Teochew Fishball noodles
