Vermicelli soup (冬粉汤) ($4.50 for larger size bowl) - The 9 fishballs had the right firmness. The soup was not bad.

This stall, located inside Maxwell food centre, is the second outlet of the famous Tanjong Pagar Teo Chew Fishball noodle. Compared to the original outlet, this location has a shorter queue. Probably due to the reason it’s a weekend. When the name rings a bell, do not hesitate. I went straight to get my fix on fishball kwayteow dry! They served minced pork with my kwayteow. The fish balls were plump and juicy. Very bite was satisfying. The soup fragrant and savoury. The chili and vinegar added to the dish made it much tastier. For an even greater kick, I added chilli padi to my kwayteow. Burning hot but definitely shiok! The stall was set up more than a year ago. It is open daily except on Sundays.

Ordered the dry fishball mee pok noodles ($4.50). Springy noodles with minced pork, fried pork lard and chilli. What I like is their tasty fishball, the soup is not bad too. Worth a try ? Follow me on IG @serenetan.sg for more food reviews.

Simple and delicious. 1 of my favourites noodles around, it was cook at the correct timing with great biting texture. Authentic taste, great flavour and fresh ingredients. Bouncy fishball and her giao with wonderful texture and taste. Recommend and Worth visit!
