★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The temple assistant very rude and talk down to people, behaving like a gangster and unbecoming of what is expected from temple helper, brings disgrace to the deities' name. if you are not there to donate money but to seek help and advise, expect them to chase you out with a broom or umbrella.
I have been a follower of this temple of over 20 years, after what i saw today how they behaved towards a helpless woman i will not go there anymore, they have lost their way, there is a reason why some temples don't last forever. Many other real authentic nine emperor temples out there where the staffs are friendly and helpful like hougang and sengkang guys.
