★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had hokkien mee and fried oysters. Both very yummy! Hokkien mee was flavourful and not starchy. Generous portion too. Oysters were large and eggs were crispy yet not oily. Service was also done with a smile. Will def return again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good and well balanced plate of hokkien mee. Sweetness from the prawn broth, Q'ness (of the mee&meehoon) is right not soggy, fresh ingredients. Their balachan chilli paste blended well with the mee but is on the sweet side, I prefer more punch!
Unfortunately their oyster omelette was not available last night, I'll be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn't manage to sample Taste of Tradition's oyster omelette but if their delectable Hokkien Mee is anything to go by, I expect it to be another flavorful offering from its humble stall owner. Aspects that set this Hokkien Mee version apart from others are fresh crunchy prawns and tender squid rings. Most sambal chili elsewhere are forgettable but the chili here is versatile enough to make you ask for more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brought two groups of friends on opening day as well as a month later... all minor changes n feedback well taken and acted upon. Awesome results. Great service, always smiling Boss and wonderful Hokkien noodles. I always opt for extra ingredients n less noodles. Loved the oyster egg dish... some prefer the mushy sticky jelly style.... I personally don’t n thankful the ouster’s were big n the dish drier with good texture and taste. Washed down with plenty of beers... enjoyed it all. Recommend u guys check out the Hawker Captain’s solid cooking skills

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yummy Prawn ? Mee with fresh ingredients and prawn (of course!).. it’s value for money and I love the 古早味 taste ? wanna try others too! So far this prawn mee is the best!
