Tastebud Eating House at 140 Corporation Drive. Latest addition to the eateries serving the growing community of Yung Ho Springs. You can find the standard offering of a cluster of stalls serving, beverages and snacks, muslim indian food, buddhist vegetarian, chinese noodles, a western grill, chicken rice and roasted meats, and also 煮炒 or tze char stall. One thing you will find here is the use of a cashless payment app partner in their ops. So if you are a current user of payment apps. You will be happy.... Or not really happy. Tastebud have seem to get all their stall operators to onboard with their payment app partner Fave. You can pay for everything offered here, except (surprise surprise) for the beverages and snacks, which usually is operated by the main owner of the entire eating house. It might be a kill joy for some, but certainly wonder for all to find their good impression of a modernised coffee shop is now reduced to just a Mehme moment....

Located under the car park block, this place has over 8 stalls for you to enjoy. They accept FavPay so it’s really convenient if you don’t have cash! Love this USP. Major plus point to eat here. Ps: Noodle stall employee doesn’t seem to like it when we use FavePay as it’s too troublesome for him. Food wise, I think foods from Chicken rice stall are nice. Noodle is not bad too.

Cosy and quiet coffeeshop. Recently with additional outdoor sitting areas. Busier during dinner time. Limited choices. New affordable Thai food available.

Expensive and trash food. No wonder it’s empty even during lunch time.

With the extended outdoor seating area, if you are looking for a place for your weekday lunch, this is the place for you. There is a new Modern Thai Fusion stall with Mookata offering, the favourite Kwan Inn Vegetarian, along with a not bad standard Zhi Cha stall, the saddle is the are no Muslim food h here.

Pork rib noodles very nice

虾面Prawn noodles boost a tasty broth that is thick with the taste of pork and prawn. The cheapest bowl at $4 comes in a generous portion with plenty of prawns and thin pork slices. It was quickly emptied. Next up at Som Tam Mookata, we ordered Phai Thai, Grilled Chicken in mushroom sauce and Fried Pineapple rice. Forgot to take photos of these dishes cos they are too delicious and I'm competing with my kids with the food ? Phai Thai's noodles are of the right texture, not overdone (不会烂烂的) and taste springy. Comes with a generous dose of peanuts and of course, the chili powder for the brave hearted. Grill Chicken comes in a generous portion of chicken and french fries. Chicken is tender and not tough, much to my daughter's delight. Lastly is the fried pineapple rice. Woah.. it's full of wok hei! So fragrant and delicious. Really out of this world. I like how generous the chef is with the cashew nuts and raisins. Would have been wonderful if there are more chicken floss :) Reading from the previous comments, it's true that the place is very devoid of crowd. I think it's such a pity. It has a clean environment, good food and nice breezy location. Pricing is reasonable. Hope the people staying near there realise this great food place soon!
