★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This spot offers what I could only describe as a authentic singaporean experience. It is overwhelmingly cheap and of a good quality.
While the food quality isn’t MIND-BLOWING, it’s very good. Nevertheless, these prices are virtually unheard of. For this price and this quality, they truly deserve to be highly recommended.
However, like all singaporean experiences, expect to queue. So wake up early and I mean 6am kind of early to beat the crowd.
Overall, this spot is cheap, good and a window into a dying breed of ultra traditional food experiences. 5/5

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you grew up around the neighbourhood, you likely rated this stall as the best kway chap although the kway is average, the braised items are good. Opened for biz in the morning from 6am till maybe 9am only, Wednesday to Sunday.
Queue started to build up after 7am, but do clear quite fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Though there’s a queue, the owner was fast at work. Ordered a mixed plate for 3 pax and 4 bowls of kway. Total came to $12.40. Reasonable.
However I personally think it lacked taste. The intestine was cold and dry. The taupok was quite stiff, if that’s how to describe it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very affordable and tasty kuey chup. Try the kuey without the gravy to taste the original kuey taste. You can always just add the gravy fr the meat later if you wan thr braised taste! Sold out very early in the morning on sundays. Sometimes it closes by 10am. So do come early. 7.30am will b a good time

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really affordable kway chap and generous in its servings. Very old skool taste but lacks depth. Its just salty overall and does only contain abit of five spice taste. The queue also clears up quite fast and the owner does not dilly dally with his orders.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Early bird catches the worm.
This is one of my favourite kway chap stalls.
I used to patronise the one at Serangoon garden (which is very popular, good but kind of expensive) until I tried this stall.
It is not only nice but also affordable. The queue is always long but moves quite fast as most customers seem to decide fast and the stall owner is fast in action. However, once the rice noodle (粿汁) is sold out (usually around 9am), the stall will start switching off the sign board light.
We love the dishes so much that, there was once we ordered just the dishes as rice noodle was sold out, and ordered a plate of fried bee hoon from another stall.
This morning, we ordered braised meat (滷肉/三层肉), pork tongue (猪舌), intestine (big and small大肠和小肠), tau pok (豆卜), egg 滷旦), ngoh heong (五香)pork stomach (猪肚) and 2 bowls of rice noodle. It was S$12.80. It was a pity that intestine (粉肠) was sold out by then. The owner said I over ordered and suggested that I Taobao if we could not finish it.
I strongly recommend that you try the pork tongue, ngoh heong, and intestine (粉肠).
Remember to go early!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite Kway Chap stall. Opens very early from 630am and closes around 9am. They have many different cuts of meat and you get to select those that are to your liking. They are typically open Wed to Sun but don't be surprised if they are not open. Good value for money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally managed to get hold of a plate of Kway chap from this elusive stall after three tries. Came on a Saturday morning and queued for 15 minutes.
Overall, not a bad one in terms of taste and quite generous in serving. Kway broth and braised sauce was on the saltier spectrum with a hint of spices. Meat was well-infused in the braised sauce. Innards have a right balance of porky taste. Only qualm is that the pork skin was lined with fats, which many other stalls remove .
