1. Charsiew saorou - 3/5 not the best charsiew and saorou I ever had in Toa Payoh area.. saorou still okay.. but the charsiew was a bit hard.. maybe can request fat fat hiekhiek next time if I come again
2. Xi yang chai tang - 3/5 very plain taste..the pork rib standard with hongzaoo...
Does not have the red chili.. only have sambal... very disappointed...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Roast meats in Toa Payoh can get quite competitive, but this stall is right up there among the top 2 for me. Consistently good each time I visit, the crackling pork is one of the best and the charsiew and roast duck, which have that charcoal roasted aroma, are very flavourful and juicy too. The stall doesn't get a lot of reviews but somehow there is always a long line of older folks, indicative of quality. They are closed on Wed and Thurs though.
