I go to this place because it was on the day of my 3rd booster shot and I have to passed by this place to go home .I normally would stopped on my way home to the shops or have my lunch there .On this particular day I had my late lunch there I had Spinach Soup at the stall where they have different dishes in Spinach. It is a very healthy dish there are many more stores there but like I always mention that because of Covid 19 most of the stalls close early but at the Coffee shop the business is brisk the food looks good, It looks very appetizing and the place is crowded. As you walk along the row of shops You will find many of what house wives would go browsing for for their kitchen. I would look for stuffs that I do not find in my area

Traditional Hawker Center in Singapore. Many different choices on food variety and always affordable. No air-con, and may not be the sparkling clean kind of place, but hygienic enough since most people here does return the trays and not dirty the public tables and chairs. The food here and the affordable price makes up for all these. (Pardon me, I forgot to take photo before eating hahaha) just wanted to show the variety. Ok to list a few there... Fried carrot cake, chee chong fan, fried bee hoon, Cantonese porridge, mixed rice (chicken peng), chicken noodles, wanton noodles, chendol, fish bee hoon, vegetarian bee hoon also quite good, and even mee hoon kuay from one of the masterchef candidates!

The 面粉粿is authentic. The soup is pretty tasty and unique. No wonder it is always a long queue. The staff is also very friendly. A hidden gems in this area.

My favourite vegetarian white bee hoon is found here. There’s always a queue but your patience will be rewarded! The handmade squid & pork ball soups / noodles are quite good too. 口福乐Fish Soup is very popular- it’s tasty and not salty Xiang Ji Porridge is very popular. The pork porridge has tender pork slices accompanied by condiments and tasted ‘home cooked ‘

18 May 2022: XIANG JI PORRIDGE…Nice texture, flavorful and super nice comfort food. GUAN SENG CARROT CAKE…ordered the white version, it’s pretty good and not too oily too 09 Dec 2021: Not a big food centre but with reasonable choices and meals are at affordable prices. Reached there at 1.30pm and not many stalls are in operations. Ordered from CHIAK SONG MEE HOON KWAY and they got two happy customers…Yummy!

A small hawker centre at Telok Blangah Crescent that is usually busy only during breakfast especially weekends, it gets quiet with barely 1/2 the stalls open after lunch hours. Not a destination in itself, if you so happen to be there, try the Hai Kee Teochew Char Koay Teow and the local deserts at 128 Desert Stall. There are good alternative hawker options next door.
