Food taste is acceptable and price is reasonable. The queue is long making the food highly anticipated. However, it did not take long for me to notice the aqueous is because the people working is super inefficient. The selling point is the interesting ingredients. Conclusion: Don't bother if you are in a rush. You can get similar quality with lesser time.

Overall: Do give this a shot at a refreshed ban mian. Bought the "all-in" dry combo to try the full experience. Definitely not the standard run-of-the-mill ban mian with the unique ingredients (prawn ball and meatball), and the dark sauce adds a sweet note to this otherwise comfort dish. The ban mian texture is reminscent of al dente pasta, which gives a firm bite. I would have preferred the ban mian to be a bit softer but this is more a personal preference. Soup was nice with the egg (note it may not be "fully cooked" but I like it that way), but unfortunately felt that it was not very special compared to the noodles. End of the day, it's a good dish and definitely adds a new spin to the standard dish. Good effort to revamp and keep this hawker culture fresh! Note the egg that you see on the menu ends up in the soup. And yes, they do sell out by early afternoon, so do come before 12pm if you are coming on weekend. Came once before and ended up having to eat other food.

Nice mee hoon kueh soup with minced and sliced pork, egg and anchovies. The kueh texture was just nice after bring boiled and scalded. The soup was OK. Will try other items when we come back again next time soon.

their Mee Hoon Kueh is half machine pressed and half hand pulled, so texture is still not bad. i ordered option 3 which has pork slices and pork ball. actually, i would be happy with just the normal signature mhk (option 1). soup is flavourful, but i couldn't finish the soup since it's quite salty. overall alright for a decent bowl of mhk.

The $3.50 bowl of ban mian soup looks like only plain soup & ban mian at first glance, on closer scrutiny, there are a few tiny pieces of minced meat & Ikan billies besides the egg & some green. Wow, if $3.50 is not worth the effort, just take it off the menu rather than offering such a pathetic bowl! The soup is quite tasty & savory though, with hints of burnt taste, wok hey or chow da whatever.

I enjoyed the soup mee hoon kway so much! Would highly recommend getting the All-In Combo so you can try all the meat toppings ??? I went just before lunch time, around 11 and there’s little queue.

Nice interior deco. One of the popular stalls in the area. Price is reasonable considering alot of handmade factors put in. Nice combination of ingredients; ikan bilis, egg, meat balls. Handmade noodle texture chewy but not to personal taste. Good for a try but didn't move me for a second visit.

Tldr: Good noodles and good soup with smoky profile. Noodle quantity is a bit small however for the price. Noodle: owner literally cut the noodle right in front of me, so it is really quite cool. Texture is good, chewy and a little thicker than usual banmian. Really nice. However, the quantity is a bit small. Increasing the amt of noodle to 50% more would be better for a proper meal. The add on for addtl noodles at 1.20 feels a bit expensive. Soup: amazing simply. There is a smoky taste (probably contributed by the oil, not too sure). Soup is tasty and the first mouth makes you want to take another. Nothing too strong that came out from the soup but overall really good. Ingredients: took the $5 option without the shrimp ball. Fairly adequate portion of pork and their quality is good. Really tender and tasty with the soup. Pork ball was a little too small but still really delicious. Definitely an upgrade from most other banmian stalls with the premium you are paying, but worth a try for sure
