Best Ice cream shop in Singapore

J	Joelle Leisure on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there with kids and ordered 2 single and 1 double with waffle. The ice cream is really yummy. I am not a foodie so i can't speak for others. But it is good enough that i will return again and I find the ice cream be it quality / quantity is reasonable at the price we paid. The only down side (not a major ones) they don't really change their flavors, so you only have that few / many to choose from.

Their waffles is a MUST try - one of my favourites (I'm picky about waffles), their waffles are very fragrant (butter and milk taste). It's crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Black sesame soy milk is our favourite ice cream flavour (though we have not tried all yet!). I like that they keep their shop very clean (used plates are cleared off tables quickly), and their kitchen table really organised and tidy.

Went there in the evening, had nian gao waffle with 3 scoops of ice cream (chamomile, Earl Grey lavender, chrysanthemum) Interesting flavours of ice cream, nian gao waffle was quite good, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside... However, was disappointed with the scoop amount, wasn't substantial, it was empty in the middle... Not worth the price imo... Hope the scoops of ice cream get "better", to live up to the shop's name..

Two stars only thanks to the waffle, but here is what was truly disappointing: 1) ice cream flavors (we tried 4) below average. Can't know which one to get as sampling is not offered - how arrogant 2) no sampling allowed (mentioned above, just to rub it in) 3) don't offer affogato if you don't have plain milk or vanilla ice cream flavors on offer. Yes, that is how affogato is normally made, not by giving customer a shot of coffee to drown your sub-mediocre ice cream in 4) staff not friendly one bit 5) pricey for the area

Shop was not even half full and we were rudely told by the staff to sit at another table after getting answer that we were only in a group of 2. Also used a Reserved tag to avoid people from doing what I just did - unlikely to be a genuine reservation because another group came in and asked to sit at the table. Staff asked the same question of how many pax and then proceed to take away the tag. Ice cream was ok. They had unique flavours like chrysanthemum, which was rather sweet but was still ok. Coffee ice cream was good and the bits really gave it a nice texture. Price was also quite reasonable and in fact cheaper than most ice cream cafes. It might be worth the price paid but not something that I really like as compared to other ice cream cafes. Overall I personally wouldn't come back here again.
