The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf™ - Leisure Park Kallang

ill-mannered staffs by the name of Nabilah & Asfiya. Service standards were really bad especially when the staff was taking my order at the counter. When asked what regular hot tea selection Coffee Bean served, she spoke with attitude and dissatisfaction and I immediately got taken aback by her tone. No staffs were willing clean and wipe the table so I had to clean it myself to settle in for some work. After getting my drink and setting up my laptop, both terrible-mannered staffs came to tell me that they have a no laptop policy and she even told me this in a very rude tone once again. I pride myself to always speak to others in a proper well mannered tone no matter, especially in the service industry but this terrible experience have given me a whole different impression of Coffee Bean. Avoid this outlet at all cost, their service and attitude towards customer can totally ruin your day.

High ceiling, quiet place to enjoy tea time. The blackforest frappe here done by barista is abit off. The ambience makes up for it. Nice place to chill.

I can’t say enough but i am very happy with my experience with Asfiya. I ordered online and coordinated with her that it will be picked up earlier than the time indicated in food panda app. I thought it would be impossible, but she accommodated my request for two days. She is very professional and very good in customer service. You are a gem Asfiya! Keep it up! Thank you!

Very good Manager. Very good customer service. I believe he is a Pinoy but never gotten down to asking his name. Please keep up with the great job. Very unassuming and kind.

Less crowded work from anywhere place. Outdoor Car parking just outside the not so famous and old mall (as compared to nearby Kallang wave)

Came in at 2:24PM to pick up my deliveroo order. Manager John totally forgot to key it in and didn't even tell me, had the audacity to print it right in front of my face and key it in. No communication whatsoever. So I waited at the side without anyone saying anything for 20 minutes. What a let down John. Place looks fabulous with the new renovations but John just had to screw it up. I thought he was mute until he talked to his colleague.

The kallang leisure park outlet was recently renovated and we were so excited in trying it out. Unfortunately, the crew was a bunch of young people who kept joking, laughing and chitchatting in their own group instead of focusing on serving the customers and delivering the orders! They missed out my egg club sandwiches (2 sets). When one of crew realized and reminded the kitchen crew, they all started to talk and laugh loudly in the kitchen, didn't even realize customers walking in until the customers shouted hello to them. Nevermind that, but they still forgot my bagel! I had to wait patiently again for them to heat it up! When I asked them why they kept forgetting my order, one of them said they are all from other outlets. What is this? Reunion party for them? Shouldn't they be more focused on their works in an unfamiliar environment? Does Coffee Bean conduct training for their crew at all? So unprofessional. Well, at least they toned down their voice after telling them off, although they still kept sticking in a group, be it in the kitchen or at the coffee-making area. Oh boy, I really missed the previous crew (before the renovation), who were all very professional, attentive and focused in their own area of work, even multitasking at times!
