Was looking for a new burger place to try and saw good reviews here. We wasn't expecting much but ended up having one of the best, if not the best tasting burger this year. We tried the Bleu Burger and BBQ Burger. The patty was juicy and the combination of ingredients were well thought out and complimented each other. The burger comes with choice of sides between fries and lemon capers potato. Do give the lemon capers potato a try. Home-made hot sauce provided and adds another dimension to the taste! We understand that the chef is local and came from very well established restaurant. That being said, the effort he placed in the food is undeniably good. Highly recommended and we will definitely return to try the other food items on the menu.

I chanced upon this restaurant situated at the corner of the street. It was quiet with only 2 tables at the front. The staff greeted us and shared with us the menu and told us that they had more tables upstairs. So I decided to give it a shot. The main waitress/staff was very friendly and helpful in recommending us the star items on the menu. So we ordered the onion side, octopus salad, hanging tender steak and burger. The onions were light and tasty, which a tangy spiced curry sauce. The octopus salad was fresh and zesty, though I wished for more octopus. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and tasty as well. The bbq burger was well seasoned and moist. Would definitely be back to try different burgers and other entrΓ©es. We also purchased a chope deal which made it more value for money. Will definitely be back!

4.5*. Was brought to this restaurant by a friend who was ex-neighbours with the owner. Place is really cozy with impeccable service. We started our dinner with fried onion matchsticks.. I liked the dipping curry wurst sauce.. its kinda like McDonald's curry sauce! ? followed by the artichokes heart. Ok we rarely eat artichokes so wasn't expecting much but it was fried well and doesn't have a smell..I know that if it's not cooked well, it has a unpleasant smell. Next was the garlic butter frog legs..it was good! Very flavorful, firm texture and the sauce was soooo good! I couldn't get enough of dipping the accompanying bread in the sauce! The bread was good too! Here comes the mains, I ordered the Bleu Burger which has the blue cheese w walnut & fruit bun.. never had this combo hence my pick. First 2 bites were great. Patty was juicy but after that I find the patty a little gamey.. not sure if it was becoz of the blue cheese or the beef. 2 friends had the portobello burger which I tried a little.. it tasted like cream of mushroom soup! ?. Only 1 friend ordered the cod fish burger which I didn't tried (kinda stingy to share food!) Feedback was good. Since I do not have a sweet tooth but my other friends have, ordered a Cremè brulee. I had a very tiny bite but it was tooooo sweet for me so can't comment on that. Owner even gave complimentary kombucha he made! Great for "washing" away the grease! Worth checking out for a nice cozy dinner.

Yummy place ? the burger patties were so juicy and tender. The salad was a very special dish, very refreshing and very different with not much greens but purples instead. The interior decor is quite nice a very nice antique feel, and the fan is made of old aeroplane wings ?

What an underrated little restaurant! My friends and I stopped by on a week night and was pleasantly surprised that every dish hit the spot! And we’re a bunch of snobs who’ve eaten through the town ? But for real, we were very impressed by the octopus salad (very bright and appetizing), pig ears (perfectly crispy with a zesty dip), as well as the blue cheese Mac and cheese (they use casarecce pasta so +5 points). For mains, we dug into the 650g prime rib, cooked to perfection with lemon caper potatoes and the grilled fish burger which was super fresh and flavorful. We also killed the fries - seasoned generously with herbs. Desserts were alright; what can I say, the mains stole the show. Was disappointed that lobster wasn’t available that day but it’s the perfect excuse for a second visit. Service was top notch as well. We were waited on by a lovely lady who knew the menu like the back of her hand. Thanks for a great evening!

A second floor shophouse, ambience complete with jazz music, and food that is good quality and done simply. I loved the Bone-in Pork Chop that was salt and pepper seasoned and grilled. There was beautiful balance between the tender and a-little-springy lean meat, and just melt in the mouth fatty layers. The appetiser that was highly recommended, I now recommend to you - the Crispy Pig Ears. I am not easily swayed to try any meats out of the norm but when this one arrived (no.4), the fragrance of spices from the small dish encapsulated our table of five. It is crispy to the bite, and also a little gelatinous on some parts, definitely a must try. The burgers were PROPER burgers and the Truffled Mac & Cheese was uniquely infused with blue cheese (it isn’t pungent at all but it is a very small portion, go for the large one!) I felt like I would have to pay much more for such well made food somewhere else, so I really appreciate the reasonable prices. 10/10 would bring my family here?

I was ushered to the second floor; it was not big, but it didn’t feel squeezy. The guests were courteous and your voice won’t be drowned out by lout talking like in a bar. It was playing jazz and the ambience was really relaxing. The service truly stands out. The friendly waitress explained their menu to me for 2-3 minutes. I ordered frog legs as a starter and a burger as my main. The dishes were very creative. the frog legs were doused in sauce which I believe should be coriander and olive oil. The bread was crusty on the outside and soft inside. The bleu burger has a delightful sweet taste because of the peanut butter. The potato (lemon caper) was a too oily for me. Overall: service &ambience 5, frog legs 5, burger 4. Heard their seafood pot is really good (the neighboring table was emptying theirs) will try it next time.

Saw friend’s praise of this restaurant in Facebook, and attracted by the good reviews and menu, and so decided to try for dinner. Place have nice ambiance, and staff are super friendly and gave good recommendations for the menu, non pushy and so it’s very good. Interesting menu like fried pig’s ear, some special potato (can’t remember name). Ordered quite a few sides and shared the main mussel and it was already quite filling for 2. Will definitely be back to try out their burger
