FRY Rooftop Bistro & Bar - 96B Club St

Amazing rooftop bar with friendly staff that makes you feel homely. My first visit but certainly not my last. So glad to have found this gem that is located hidden at level 3 of club street. Makes my day.

Dropped by for their Happy Hours Specials last week. Awesome view of Tanjong Pagar despite the cloudy sky. Their drinks are yummy, especially the plum martini. And their otah fries are to die for! The crew is super friendly so feel free to chat them up!

I found this bistro by chance while walking at the Club Street. I was there a bit earlier than it was officially opened yesterday (5 Jan). They still received me and one girl, who was the most friendly staffs there introduced me Blue Moon tab beer, which turned to be quite nice. View at the rooftop is quite pleasant as well. The only thing I think they could improve is the attitude of one staff there. One lady, who has the short hair, a bit bigger than the other two girls (who have long hair, tall and skinny), carried quite some emotions while serving. When she came from outside and saw me standing on the rooftop waiting to be seated, she gave me quite hostile eye contact and asked if she could help. After I got my beer, I asked for a glass of water from the third girl, who went to raise the request. The short hair lady showed a very negative face as if I raised a very inappropriate request (if she wore a mask, it would probably hide her facial expression, but she didn’t). She took a glass out, threw it on the bar before the third girl could fill the water. I am wondering how much she hates her job in order for her to respond in such a dramatic manner.

Very nice Place! We drink some cocktails and they are very good. The Food is delicious and the Staffs so friendly. We like it and come back soon. The View is amazing.

Quite quiet and chill rooftop, though the view is soso from some tables and angles. Food is good, especially enjoyed the mentaiko fries, steak, mac and cheese. Mussels were spicy and was served with fries. Craft beer and paulaner weissbier were quite light.

First time visited there. Staff so friendly n nice. Food and drink awesome delicious. I ordered iced tea lychee, very nice taste. Ordered twice. Loved it. Otah fries very nice. Beef medium tasted very good. Highly recommended!

Been a few years since being back here but recently visited again. Everyone is super nice and friendly and what could be better than a rooftop bar! The food was great too.

This place is hard to beat. Stunning all-around views, good people, and good vibes. All you need is an open mind and good people skills. The first time we chanced upon this place, we walked through its doors as strangers and left as friends. Staff was friendly, and drinks and food were good! What a gem of a place in the beautifully restored shophouse district of Chinatown.
