So anyway, there is usually no reason for one to go to the Float except when there are events, or for cycling or running etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ State of the art technology to support many large scale event. There will be firework display every Saturday in July for the National Day event where Singapore is celebrating her birthday. You can see helicopter and fighter jets soaring through the air, free aerial display for everyone. Security is tight here to ensure the safety of the people working on the ground.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Venue for the National Day Parade 2022 (last) before dismantling for the construction of the new NS Square next year. Only venue that can showcase three elements of NDP live displays of land, sea and air together ... will be missed including the sight of Singapore financial hub.

The floating platform for various events is a remarkable feat by itself. Initially used as a temporary replacement for the National Stadium is now a permanent fixture for all to enjoy.
During its off peak season, it open to the public.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic place to be, sort of the "central" of Singapore... Right between Marina Bay Sand / Singapore River/ Merlion Park/ Fullerton Hotel... Used to hold the Singapore National Day parade few times... N today, 21Nov 2021, is the last day of KEW Holiday Singapore exhibition...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wide open space in the city centre. Great place for fitness and leisurely strolls. This venue was previously used for Singapore's National Day Parades, but will now be used as NS Square, a location dedicated towards national service.
The Float @ Marina Bay provides for a beautiful backdrop if you wish to take photographs as well.
This is a conveniently located venue that is worth a trip down.
