β β β β β Iβve been a beginner at The Gentle Art with my 3 kids for more than a year now. Really enjoying it and the kids love it too. The Coaches are friendly, professional and make it fun and safe for the kids. It has a nice community feel with a variety of ages and people. We are all improving and had the chance to enter some competitions as well. If youβre not sure about joining, you should come and give it a try.

β β β β β Have been training at TGA for slightly more than 2 years now. I have enjoyed the sessions greatly and my only regret is that I haven't been able to attend more classes due to my schedule.
BJJ has taught me many interesting techniques, and is a fun way to get in shape. The passion of the coaches and the students here can be keenly felt.
Best part is the bond among everyone in the gym. Everyone is friendly and willing to help each other to improve!

β β β β β Been training here for a bit. Bjj is pretty addictive a sport!
The coaches are great and engaging, even at different levels. What I like is that there is a good mix of people there, from really hardcore competition people and also people just doing it for fun and fitness. They also have Bulgarian bag, which is more for fitness and conditioning/intensive workout buffs.
Has classes everyday, but covid has restricted which slots everyone can go for.
Highly recommended if you're looking to dive into bjj.

β β β β β Great coaches teaching not only BJJ skills, and also values to my kid. Highly recommended to anyone out there whom may need some self defence skills.

β β β β β Lovely and professional BJJ academy with engaged and experienced coaches. My boys are 8 and 6 and have been going for over a year. The coaches are fun, patient and just firm enough to encourage the kids to keep challenging themselves. I really appreciate how Gentle Arts is teaching my kids not just the physicality of the sport but more importantly, giving them opportunities to practice in real time vital life skills like resiliency, focus, and winning/losing with grace.

β β β β β Highly recommend TGA as a BJJ school for either beginners or experienced BBJ players looking to find a training location. The coaches are extremely friendly, professional and patient. Most of my family train at the school - 11 year old son, adult daughter and myself!
The kids program is well thought out and executed with an appropriate balance between martial training and mental strength. It's also great fun and my son Ryan has made some great friends in the 3 years he has trained at the school.
The adults program is also well thought out and can appeal to young and "older" adults looking to compete or alternatively train at a different pace. All lessons are safe and without usual ego nonsense you can get at a lot of martial arts gyms. Again, highly recommend TGA as a go to gym for people in Singapore.
Thanks TGA for supporting my family through it's BJJ journey!

β β β β β Great gym - our family has been training there for several years. They have a fantastic kids program that focuses on bringing every kid to a solid level of BJJ as well as teaching valuable life skills such as resilience and perseverance. The coaches are extremely experienced and enthusiastic and all the kids love training there. They make it a lot of fun. For adults - itβs a very welcoming environment. The coaches push you to do your best, but all within the bounds of what each individual can and wants to achieve. There is a real βfamilyβ atmosphere that I like compared to some larger and less personal gym. What makes it special is the dedicated coaches. I canβt recommend it highly enough.

β β β β β The Gentle Art Academy has an amazing BJJ program for kids. At this age itβs about having fun while learning the fundamentals. The professors are very attentive to each of the kids in class and really go out of their way to make sure they are enjoying themselves while training. Iβve been competing for many years and it makes me so happy to know that BJJ will be something special that my sons and I will always share. After training, it speaks volumes when my sons excitedly ask: βWhen can we go back?β ??
