Good range of light local dishes and deserts. The green bean soup is very tasty and pretty large portion too.

Very poor quality especially don’t try the Chendol durian. The durian has a nasty smell. Not fresh at all. When told to them they just denied it, never even try to take out the durian they have in a white box to try it. Also the shave ice was pressed to harden into one big ice block to become one big ice cube. Also tried their green bean, just so so only. Not hot, just warm only. And the laksa is only for cheap price only. No cockles, not spicy and got a smell of not being fresh. Just poor quality. If you want cheap laksa, can try them. Otherwise don’t bother.

This is my dessert place after lunch at the neighboring coffee shops and it has a large variety of choices at very decent prices! It’s hit or miss as I’ve had some that were really good and others that are so-so.

Signature green bean soup at affordable pricing. Friendly sellers. Take note that they are closed on Sunday. I will be trying other desserts and post another review soon.

This is a must try dessert shop. Whilst it’s called The Green Bean Shop, I’ve not tried their Green Bean Soup yet as I’m more of a cold local deserts fella. So far I’ve tried their Chin Chow (Grass Jelly) with Longan, Ice Kacang, Cold Cheng Tng and that have been superb and damn delicious! Only thing that is rather unique from other places is that they like to put big ice pieces instead of shredded ice into some of their cold deserts. Maybe they feel that would slow down the ice melting process. Go figure! ?
