★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would count myself as a beginner guitar player, and have never purchased a guitar before as I simply played my dad's old one. However, choosing a guitar was not a straightforward process. Thankfully, Harris patiently guided me through the process. With good knowledge on the different options available, as well as the ability to discern between the options, I walked away with a Maestro Cardinal Series. The guitar offered so much for the price, and I believe will be sticking with me for many many years to come! Highly recommend coming to this shop with some basic knowledge on your own playing style for the best experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic experience, the salespersons were patient, knowledgeable and, importantly, never pushy. It has been 6 or 7 years since I last properly practiced, my playing is quite "meh", never once was I brushed aside by them. They let me try all ranges of the guitars within my budget and expectations.
Maestro makes some of the greatest acoustic guitars you can find at a reasonable price. They are not your cheapo throwaround kind of guitars, if you are in the market looking for an upgrade, try them. You will not be disappointed. Between couple of hundreds $ to $$$, they will have something for you.
Look for Jith, he will be able to help you, technical questions or matching your budget. He will give you choices :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best guitar shops i have ever stepped foot in. Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff; especially Jith. He attended to, and advised me on multiple occasions. Such a down-to-earth person who helped me out in a trade-up of my Maestro Project-X X1-RA, to an Original Series Raffles WE CSB A. He took note of my playing style and immediately knew which guitar would suit me best. Jith handed me a Raffles in Wenge & Adirondack Spruce and straight away i was blown away by it's full-sounding projection and immediate response. Went home a very happy customer. 2 weeks later i brought it back to the shop due to an issue, and once again, Jith helped resolve it swiftly on the spot. Cannot thank him enough. I heard good stuff about the other staff members too. Hats off to the entire TGS team. Keep up the good work and excellent service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ was recommended by a fellow musician to come drop by this shop, gave it a shot to go fix my ukulele pick up. Service was top notch and the staff Jith who assisted me with how my setup should be and even gave me tips to help on deciding what pick up upgrade i should get for my ukulele. please drop this shop if you wanna have some good advice on alternative solutions for your gear. u wont regret it.
Shout out to Jith, his your guy!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised at the level of service where he went above and beyond by helping me take pictures, selecting the best guitar and sending over the pictures. This allowed me to make an informed choice on which guitar to select even though it is an online purchase.

It is always a joy to see people having pride in their work and doing it so professionally. A wonderful experience. 100% recommended and I will definitely use their service again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been looking for a high-end acoustic for a while, and have always enjoyed dropping by as every staff I've interacted with at The Guitar Shop had the same warm and welcoming vibe. I was never pressured to buy anything at any point too, which was always a pleasant experience.
I was even invited to their warehouse, and had the luxury of trying every guitar there to make the most fully informed purchase I could within my budget. Eventually took home a Maestro Victoria IR CSB Original Series, which I have with me for about 3 months now.
Had some minor issues with it at first, but Harris took care of them professionally. It plays great and sounds amazing now! Overall, probably the best quality instrument and customer service you can get for your money here in Singapore
