The Interlace is an apartment building complex located at the boundary between Bukit Merah and Queenstown, Singapore. It is noteworthy for its break from the typical tower design in cities with high population densities by resembling Jenga blocks irregularly stacked upon each other. Designed by The Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), it was awarded the World Building of the Year title at the 2015 World Architecture Festival. The 170,000 square meters Interlace complex sits on 8 hectares of land, at the corner of Depot Road and Alexandra Road. It has 31 residential blocks with units ranging in size from 800 square feet to 6,300 square feet for the penthouses at the top of each blocks. The Interlace was designed by Ole Scheeren and the architecture firm OMA. The project architects who followed the project through to completion while resolving design and compliance issues were RSP Architects Planners & Engineers. The project was commissioned in 2007 and finished in 2013. The property is surrounded by several parks that are connected and to promote the Singapore Green initiative of 2012. Source: Wikipedia

Awarded design, built over a decade ago. Aesthetically impressive, functional many design flaws...7th and 13th floors suffer from flooding (management says its the design, nothing can be done), the space hasn't been well planed, not enough bike spaces, rubbish chutes were designed too small, and the list goes on. Constant updates and fixes, means working from home difficult due to construction noise. Actually 3 stars is generous

Been living here for almost 1 year and loving it! The place is very spacious and a lot of green outdoor spaces. And although big number of HHs are living here, this place is very serene. Facilities are amazing and location is near to many amenities within few bus stops. Unit construction is also well built. Recommended for family with kids / elderly too

Beautiful apartment complex. The unit stacked each outlet which where it gets the name interlace from. It was very huge area. The unit seems huge as well seeing quite a number of units put fridge on the balcony area. Visited friend around the area. Visitor can only park at V section in the center. The entrance guard never mentioned about it, I was notified by guard on duty. Few guards were seeing strolling around the area, basement with golf car and level 2 with bicycle.
