★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A meandering boardwalk along the water’s edge, The lone tree enables visitors to get up close with nature. Plants along lone tree thrive in the riparian zone, where parts of certain plants are constantly submerged underwater. Many of these plant species have evolved mechanisms that allow them to cope with constant inundation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is certainly not a place worth a detour, but if you are somewhere close to jurong east and you prefer outdoor than indoor, spend about 2 hours here before dinner.
This attraction is within Jurong Lake Garden.
The tree is made from steel bars usually inserted into concrete to reinforce it. It is brilliantly made into a tree and the rust makes it all the more beautiful. Come and touch it yourself, photos do not do it justice. How many places in Singapore do not barracade art?
Depending on where you enter from, some path leading into this zone is quite a surreal experience, it felt like a magical forest experience leading into the zone with pebbles, overgrown grass, dragon flies and wild flowers.
You can get a beautiful sunset on a good day like today.
This is a public space in land limited Singapore. I think the artists who designed this space did very well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peaceful scenery early in the morning, if it weren’t so cloudy the sun rise can be pretty nice. Just to take note that some parts on ground can be quite muddy and wet if you are going for early morning shoot, so best to prepare extra shoes.
The lone tree area now has nice pathway paved out but the lalangs seems shorter than the last time I visited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located near South Carpark, Rasau Walk and Grasslands. This Lone Tree, is actually not a natural tree,is a sculpture. Is made of twisted bar of metal from recycled iron reinforcement bars salvaged from the old park's pathways. A very interesting 'tree' and I took many photos of it.
