Prime location that is within walking distance of a plethora of markets, MRT stations (Braddell, Caldecott and Toa Payoh) and shopping malls. I also enjoy the design of the roof garden, which houses many different kinds of plants.

The Peak @ Toa Payoh, launched completion in Apr 2009/Jul 2012 is a Design, Build and Sell Scheme (DBSS) flats and are built by the private developers, with each development characterised by unique external features. Developed by the famous Hoi Hup Sunway J.V. Pte Ltd which is a very well reputed company in the field of construction, the five-block public housing development has a total of 1,203 units. The DBSS was introduced by the Housing and Development Board (HDB) in 2005. Flats built under the scheme were meant for public housing and developed by private developers. They were built with supposedly better designs and mostly in matured estates such as Tampines, Ang Mo Kio and Bishan. There were 13 DBSS projects, totaling 8,533 units. As the DBSS flats are developed, sold by private developers and not by the HDB, the scheme attracted public outrage when a series of five-room DBSS flats developed in Tampines by Sim Lian Group Limited opened for sale at S$880,000, way higher than what could be afforded by most middle-class families. As HDB did not control the pricing of DBSS units being sold, the scheme was poorly received and subsequently suspended indefinitely.

Has been living in this estate close to 10 years. Loved the variety of great local food in around this area. The market across does have few good stall to try such as chicken feet noodle, duck rice, white bee hoon zi char, you tau fu, Waker chicken and many more. You will great plenty of sun in the afternoon and if your unit is facing the MacRitchie Reservoir you will be rewarded with fantastic sunset view.
