β β β β β Quaint & cosy little cafe that serves very nice Swiss rolls & coffees. Croissant is not the flaky fluffy type. Scone was not bad. Too bad they do not serve simple all day breakfast like scrambled eggs & toast.

β β β β β Cute cafe in a quiet neighbourhood, short walk away from Serangoon MRT. Nice ambience, with freshly made pastries. I liked their scones and Swiss rolls! Drinks were great too, so far I like their chai latte, mocha and their cold brew coffee. Fantastic spot for tea, and for a chat.

β β β β β Unfortunately encountered a couple of pet peeves of mine which explains the score.
1) service crew with free flowing shoulder length hair handling F&B is not right. Service crew touching their hair and handling F&B is not right. Hair nets, hair bands, rubber bands maybe would be good?
2) nice glassware, but not really suitable for hot drinks. And I like burning my tongue so....
3) Very creamy swiss rolls but I don't really get why it's so expensive
On the plus side, one extra star cause the coffee is good and crew are really polite!

β β β β β Nice little cafe located in the neigbourhood of Serangoon. Ordered an ice white & the earl grey swiss roll. Love the bitter of the coffee, while the swiss roll is light with great earl grey flavour - not too sweet too! ? All in all, it's a good experience. ? The staffs are friendly too!

β β β β β Always wanted to try The Plain Jane and was so glad I finally got to. Tried the earl grey and yuzu one and hot dayummmm, they're so light and fluffy you can just inhale them. The cafe itself also has really nice chill vibes with camping chair and earthy tones, love it.

β β β β β The cafe has a nice ambience and has a nice concept, but the food is not that appealing to me. The earl grey Swiss roll is very milky and tastes a little like earl grey, but it is not sweet and felt a little powdery. The peach oolong is ok, but didn't quite feel like it's worth the price. Altogether, I paid $15.90 for this set.

β β β β β Nice neighbourhood cafe which sells Swiss rolls, scones and other baked goods. Love the Earl Grey Swiss roll - it was creamy, light and fluffy with a hint of Earl Grey. Not too βJelatβ, just the right amount of dessert for an after meal snack. Noticed that they have changed the layout and now the space resembles that of a well-curated hipster furniture shop with Coleman camping chairs - great for group gatherings!

β β β β β Delicious and simple environment. Though their Swiss roll seems to be the highlight but I personally prefer and love their scones! The cranberry one is very nice ?
Pot tea is good too to go along with the scones!
