Great experience looking at how the different cocktail mix turn into magic with the elegant performance by the bartender and the touch of light bringing out the aesthetics of the drink.

Japan concept authentic bar in National Gallery. Cool interior and glasses, creative cocktails....the bar master will show you beautiful cocktail world away from helter skelter daily life. Japanese Izakaya drink which is called Lemon sour, it is casual, general drink but if he makes, it would be luxury feeling cocktail. Not only taste, presentation is also cool. I can recommend to bar lovers.

First impression, this is a quiet bar. There's no rowdy crowd, everyone is comfortable in this dimly lighted place. The crowd pleaser would be the "Confession". A red wine based cocktail. The bartender will let you get ready your phone / camera and the presentation is the selling point of this drink. Sprays of edible glitter are sprayed into the glass, forming the scene of the lone rose in Beauty and the Beast. Other drinks prepared for the grams are "Forever Love" , Gimlet (didnt order). The bartender tends to be very busy with the artisanal cocktails and service can be slow. "Forever Love" is gin based cocktail. Pleasant on the tongue. There's also Japanese Whisky, shochu and sake on the menu. Good varieties. Price can be on the pricey side.

Seeing mixed reviews here made me wonder how would my experience be like and I set to find out. Firstly my friend did not seem to encounter much problems making reservation though their seats are limited so it was hard for us to get a reservation. We finally got one, and when we entered, apparently we couldn’t sit at the middle part of bar (reserved they say, but we see no one throughout the night) and we sat at a corner instead. Presumably it’s because I think it’s easier for the bartender to pour the cocktail. Speaking of cocktails, yes they are pre mixed but made in batches and kept in tiny bottles in the fridge. I think it’s because maybe some are using wine and it’s better to make it all once you open? Or maybe there’s only one bartender so it’s better to just do it like a production line and saves the bartender time and he can leisurely do the sprinkling of magical gold dust often (which is pretty cool). Now onto their signature cocktails. The IG-worthy one with the realistic edible puny rose in the center (flew directly from japan no less) is called “Confession”. Main base is red wine and it’s really good tasting I must say. However it does cost a whooping $34++ so please savor every drop. You also get the bartender helping to shine a light and splash tiny gold dust like a scene from Beauty and the Beast. Very IG-story worthy indeed. I do pity the bartender having to do it every ten minutes but hey, it’s what keeps people coming! The moment is really captivating and pretty magical. We saw a couple of people ordered the Gimlet as well where the bartender will cut a fresh ice block into a pyramid shape and pour a shimmering cocktail over. While the bartender is not the chatty sort, he is game to answer questions though you need to strain to hear him. Ambience wise it’s quite secluded and private with each table far apart from the others. While you are there, do order their fried chicken, it’s really good! Instagram @singaporelocalguides

The cocktail looks interesting but it was pricey so we tried one. The chicken bites were good and draft beer is nice. It is quiet during diner time but after 8 pm there were more people. The cocktail glasses are pretty clean by being sanitized with hot water. Will go back.

Very quiet bar with pretty cocktails. Bar bites were too pricey for the tiny portion but otherwise quite an enjoyable experience. Staff were also friendly and helpful.
