Booked tickets to the ant museum today. Had a really good experience with the company and guide. They were nice to us and let us in on our designated tour even though we were slightly late. Our guide, Glen, did a really good job in engaging us as he shared passionately about the different species of ants, the different roles in the ant colony, how they communicate with one another, etc. We were also given a chance to feed them and saw firsthand how these ants took down their live feed. Left the museum having a greater appreciation of ants and thanks Glen for the wonderful tour! ?

Was a great place to learn a lot for kids. Is a two storey shop house and the person in charge will introduce us to the different breed of ants. Able to do some feeding at own expenses. You can also purchase the ant starter kit from this museum.

My husband & I had an enjoyable tour. The guide, Bron, was knowledgeable and gave an informative tour. We had a chance to feed the ants and let the giant ant crawl on our arm. Good fun and educational.

First, I love that the effort to educate children are appropriately made. There are good information that are made easy to understand for both adults and kids. However, there was some cause of concern for the quality of how the ants are kept. It seems like over feeding is quite common as seen in the photos. There is also quite a lack of display species as a few of the enclosures seemed to be empty like the leaf weaver Ants and a few others. Overall, the museum offers an unique experience with a little lack in some content.

The tour guide was particularly enthusiastic, and he did a visual demonstration of ants responding to honey. mesmerising! great educational facility that also does school tours, hope there will be more enthusiastic staff like our guide.

Although physically small in size, there are still a variety of Ants to see. In particular likes the explanation though. It was clear and staff are well trained to answer the questions. Good job!

5* as a show of support to a local museum. It is definitely educational and a good hour plus of fun for the family. We do see ants quite frequently but never really cared too much about their way of life and how they maintain and build their colonies. The guided tour and sharing by the guide was informative and well paced. We are definitely ant expert now. ? Ants are actually very clean. They move their waste to a corner, so that their nest is not in a mess. My girl was intrigued and open to learning more about ants, so I decided to get her a beginner formicarium, so she can observe how the queen ant and her minions build and expand their colony. Support local effort, so that we have more of such exotic and unique exhibition and museums to enjoy. ?????
