★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Affordable good food in an expensive neighbourhood. You will be hard pressed to find anything better. It’s just not so accessible as it’s a long walk from bus stop/ mrt. Noodles stall is very popular amongst mainland Chinese. Noodles are as authentic as can be. Western stall specialises in salads and chicken. Good value. Chicken rice is also good. Sin kee chain stall.
