★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Specially came here for the maki. Quality did not disappoint. The fried prawn portion looks slightly smaller then the portion in Taka.
Other then that, service was also good. There was no queue when we were there on a Sunday late morning. Would be back for don. ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An established and popular Japanese restaurant in Far East Plaza. It has a wide range of dishes but the focus is on Sashimi, Sushi and Chirashi Dons, although all the items are delicious and well prepared. Prices are reasonable given the quality and portion sizes. Highly recommended. Definitely worth a try if in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I went for our dinner around 8.30pm. It was fairly packed with 2 or 3 seats available. We ordered the hot favourite kaisen charashi don regular, aburi slamon mentai don, soft shell crab salmon aburi roll and a wagyu yaki. The sashimi slices were generously thick and very fresh. Seared salmon was done perfectly. The wagyu yaki with teriyaki sauce was a heaven's match. Not forgetting the soft shell crab salmon roll, best combination.
We managed to finished everything leaving nothing behind. Costed us around $101. Highly recommended. We are planning a revisit already.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super fresh and thick cut sashimi on a bed of rice. The sirloin steak was tender and served with interesting sriracha mayo sauce and black pepper sauce. All washed down with draft beer. Reservations are needed to avoid disappointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Usually not very crowded i guess it is because it is alit more ulu, so we can enter without reservation. Love the steak as well as the tofu cheesecake!! Not smth to order when u r at a sushi bar but i am not a sushi/sashimi person, my bf is the one who loves sushi bar. He usually orders Kaisen Chirashi Don (regular size), and they are really generous with the sashimi portion so it was really worth it for the money!!! Do try the tofu cheesecake bcus i really din expect myself to love it!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pics says it all. If you know your stuff in high end Japanese restaurants, you know you are getting the bang for buck factor in this place. One week in advance for reservations. Walk in accepted but you will need luck and limited dining time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always get a good feedback regarding this sushi bar from friends and social media.
I’m a big fan of Japanese Food especially with sushi and anything raw on a generous bowl of heart-warming Japanese rice bowl.
Therefore, my expectation was abit high on this restaurant.
Got myself Chawanmushi and Deep-Fried Beancurd Skin stuffed with Seafood paste as a starter.
Chawanmushi was nothing special and “default” preparation like any other Japanese casual restaurant. A decent amount of tobiko and shimeiji was added in the steam custard.
The Seafood Stuffed “nugget” was a bit interesting for me. A fusion-like starter and it kinda works for me. A little bit of dipping of the sweet Thai Chili sauce adds sweetness to the nice juicy nuggets that was definitely fried upon order.
I ate lots and lots of Chiraishi Bowl. So I can confidently say that the quality of the fish served on that day was just alright. Fresh and not “off-funky” kind of smell. However, for $28+ for the quality given, it is overrated.
If I was given another chance to eat Chiraishi Don once again at Far East Plaza, I preferably head over to level 5 and had it at Wasabi Tei instead.
On the flipped side , I loved the Makimono here. I got myself a nice prawn breaded makimono that was wrapped with generous amount of avocado and Japanese Cucumber. It is then topped with Aburi Salmon and Mentaiko.
This is a solid combinations and I have no issue trying other options if I felt like coming over on another date.
Overall, it is a good place of hanging around with a group of friends or working colleagues after a hard-days work.
For those who prefers a quiet atmosphere, it is best not to dine here and get disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generous and well prepped dishes. We were not expecting the portions or at least the food to look and taste better than the menu. It was truly a good experience. Well done ??
