DO NOT BUY THERMOS PRODUCTS 500ML STAINLESS STEEL MUG 1. Not good grade stainless steel The mug was brand new. After using it just once, dark marks appeared on the interior surface of the mug. The mug is of poor quality and it is not of pure stainless steel. 2. Poor design of the mug: with a narrow opening and your hand can get stuck inside. 3. Poor customer service Since it is a brand new mug with "1 year warranty" I called the Company and asking the staff (Jo) to look into this (for an exchange). She informed me to write to the Company's email. The company informed me via email to use baking soda! I replied to the Staff (Agnes) I did use that and the stains are still in the mug. I did not hear from them after that. I have no choice but to call her & she told me to go to Ubi Industrial Estate to "test" the mug. For $25 mug, I am not going to waste my time to travel to Industrial Estate to 'test' the mug. So buyers beware, if you have the same stains as mine, (brand new) under warranty, this company is not going to replace another one for you (even though it is under warrranty and the factory in China did not use 100% pure stainless that is why there are stains ) To: Ms Agnes (Hotline Call Centre) My response: Now I know the 'quality' of your product (mug), No Thank You.

Thermos has been an established brand but I was really upset to find out that Thermos has compromised on the stainless steel quality used in the mug It is not even 304 food grade quality !! Isn't it harmful to have food interacting with the stainless steel in Thermos products? Isn't ordinary

I am an avid collector of tumblers and lunchboxes. Bought the Frozen Funtainer Thermal Bottle and Foodjar via Amazon but it was from Thermos US. Given the international warranty and etc, I wasn’t afraid esp SG is so international. Used the Bottle for about 3 months and found a suspicious brown spot at the bottom. Given it was for my 4 year old, I wasn’t confident to use it anymore and contacted Thermos SG. After finding out that I didn’t buy it locally, they refused to do much and told me to get in touch with Thermos LLC which also gave me radio silence. I made it clear that if they are unable to do an exchange, it would be OK but I felt that as a consumer group targeting families with young children, they SHOULD look into the product quality and see what caused that brown rusty spot. After that, even when I volunteered to deliver the defective item to them for investigation, they continued giving me silence. Thermos used to be the go-to brand for most households. After this incident, I never bought another Thermos item even tho my daughter is so swayed by their licensed products. I’d rather pay a bit more for Camelbak and Hydroflask tumblers.
