Fantastic doctor if you like sitting in a waiting room of sick children with an infant. We didn’t wait less than an hour, expect to wait up to 2-3. Don’t go here! Fair warning.

We have been here since our little one was born. Dr Ang Tin is our preferred choice of doctor but the administration and the staff service here is horrendous! The wait time for the payment is close to an hour. They don't even have SMS service or notification and we are all supposed to be waiting here in the small cramped clinic. The charge is exorbitant but if your child is very sick and require urgent attention, please don't bring them here. It's a horrible experience coming here.

Good doctor, but avoid if you don't want to endure 2 hours waiting time. They take more than they can handle.

My wife gave birth at this hospital and the doctors were brilliant, we then chose to use the Paediatric Centre in order to stick with the same doctor. The doctor is great (Dr Yang) but the service here is terrible, the worst in Singapore. It is pointless making an appointment as you will wait for hours, imagine a small room full of agitated children all waiting for an appointment which may take hours. Today was the final straw, after arriving early and waiting for over an hour we were told there were still 4 more patients in front of us. We will never return here again and I recommend you do not bring your child here unless you want hours of wasted time.

Tried to call multiple times last week after receiving an SMS that had a different appointment timing than written in file. Morning, afternoon, evening, no answer. Emailed, no response. Tried to call around 30 times the morning appointment was supposed to be scheduled for, no answer, just left to ring each time. Sent another email to the address written in my child's file. The minimum I expect is a response to confirm that the SMS appointment date is accurate. I just can't understand why TMC encourage new parents who deliver their babies there to use the paediatric clinic. They can't handle the demand and as a result they fail to deliver even the minimum service. I'm not surprised the appointment dates don't match, because the woman on the desk seemed so stressed, I could see my baby's file on a pile behind her yet she was calling other parents to pay from some other pile whilst also dealing with something else. When I go in to see the doctor, she is experienced and friendly, but the consultation lasts for 2-3 minutes. I leave feeling rushed and full of questions and worries that I didn't even have time to remember to ask. I can't say that staff are rude, in fact most of the ladies and the man I encountered are friendly and really skilled with infants, but others don't make eye contact because they don't want to help. I'm sure they are over-worked, and in less manic circumstances the clinic could function very well, but something needs to be done to address problems. More staff, staggered/accurate appointment times and someone to answer the phone perhaps? Overall, dealing with the TMC Paediatric Centre is an unsatisfactory experience. I regret paying for my baby's vaccination package there... I dread the waiting times and lack of communication going forward; probably it will be even worse now that my baby is past newborn stage...

Very bad clinic. Very long waiting time, 2-3 hrs each time. Not worth waiting so long no matter how good the doctors are. Also, the area is so small and all the sick children and newborn are all confined in the same space, making it very easy for the flu virus to spread.

First experience and it was an extremely horrendous one. We did not have a PD in mind and Dr Tan KY was recommended by our Gynae. We found him extremely professional and he simplifies things for us as first time parents to note. Hence we decided to go ahead with him. Upon discharged, I received a call from the nurse from DR Tan KY clinic for an appointment at 9.15am. It was a quick call and ended within 30 secs. The nurse DID NOT inform that only 2 adults are allowed with the infant (4 days old). If there’s restriction, the nurses should have informed upfront, but they did not. I arrived at 8.50am with my wife and my mother. My wife is still recuperating from the long labour and was advised by the Gynae not to carry any heavy items (including the baby). One of the nurses has no empathy at all and insisted that 1 adult has to wait outside of the clinic at all times. Whilst my mother carries the baby and I carry 2 bags of baby essentials and perform all the registration, my wife natural felt that she should be the one waiting outside, and she did. Last feed was at 8am, the baby cried at 9.45, wanting milk. Asked if my wife can go into the clinic to use one of the rooms to breastfeed, the same nurse insisted only 2 in the clinic. Whilst I understand that there’s protocols to follow especially during this pandemic, it would be much appreciated if they would have allowed me to put the baby stuff (eg burp cloth, wet tissue and etc) before I step out of the clinic so they my wife can come into the clinic and start to breastfeed, with the assistance from my mother to carry the baby. Things turned out for the worst of the day when my mother asked the same nurse at 10am why the long wait and patients who came after us were ahead of us and have seen the PD. The nurses mentioned that they were waiting for the blood test results. My wife stepped in and found out that the nurses forgot to give us the blood test form upon registration. It is appalling that such things can be forgotten by these professionals. We were then subsequently informed to wait another 30mins for the results to be out before we can re-join the queue to see the PD.
