I ordered delivery from them using Deliveroo app. Order accepted but they just close shop without preparing the food or noticing me. Never get to try but it really suck that when u have to wait for hours for nothing

Terrible experience ordering Foodpanda from this branch. The owner should review his staff's performance and attitude. 1) Item missing when order arrived. Stall say rider forgot to take. Rider say stall only gave one bag. Whatever the case, I think the stall has responsibility to call back rider. 2) Went to stall personally to pick up order. Went home, supposed to be garlic pork belly it became some random dish with celery. 3) Went back again for a second time and the staff says that they replaced the dish because they ran out of ingredients and claims it was mentioned. 2 pax were present and did not hear a word. Staff is more interested to argue than to solve customer's problem.

I have been eating mala everywhere for past 4 years, walk past this place and give it a try, order a very small portion cause it's weekday lunch, charge me a ridiculous $16, market rate for the portion i order should be $8-11, avoid at all cost.

Overpriced, Average taste, Poor attitude. Don’t waste time. Definitely last visit.

Good Szechuan style food at reasonable price. Tried their 麻辣香锅 too, it was spicy and flavorful. 辣子鸡, chicken was very crispy and spicy. If you enjoy spicy food, you will definitely like this dish. 回锅肉 is definitely worth trying. The pork belly has the right amount of fat, meat was tender with a delicious crust on the exterior. It tasted slightly spicy and sweet, which was the perfect complement to the pork belly. They also served a special dish, Deep-Fried Pork Intestine. The intestines were crispy on the outside, soft in the inside. 干锅鸡, was quite decent as well. Chicken meat were chopped into smaller cubes, which was well soaked with the accompanying gravy which made every single cube very flavorful. 手撕包菜，hand shredded cabbage was simply spicy and delicious. The soya sauce brought out the natural sweetness in the cabbage itself. Damned good, must try.

The way the staff(short plump girl with long hair) came up with the price is highly questionable. My order with 3 vegs, 1 black fungus, 1 serv of taubok 1 serving of thick glass noodles, 1 serving of pork balls & 1 serving of chicken came up to $19. I had previously bought thesame combo with rice & the price is only around $16+.

One star for a good Mala fix in the hood. If u can get out of the hood you should. Suggest the male chef to stay in the kitchen to cook or work on the service aspect of his business ?

Thye Guan has multiple chains and I used to love the Thye Guan in Commonwealth. The price in this store is CRAZY expensive. I don’t believe how just 4 ingredients cost me $15 for one person. With the same amount of dish in Commonwealth it would have cost me $10. Please check your staff calculation methods.
