Don’t ever try at all. I feel I’m cheated of $4.50plus $0.20(box) total $4.70. 3 packets I bought. Is a nightmare for me . The potion is less than half box ???. Worst fried hokkien mee in Singapore. Even my child of 7years old cant fill the stomach.

My family and I have lived in Chong Boon area for our lifetime. We bought from your father and later supported the son for 10 over years. We loved your hokkien mee and chilli very much. But recently, really the attitude, service, and standard has dropped very much. Just last week, we went to buy again, to our surprise, increase by 50 cents, and the plate is still the same (already smaller than usual than other hokkien mee stalls plates, 409 cheaper than you, yet bigger plate), my dad requested for “abit more chilli”, usually last time the auntie that helped your father just gave us a little more chilli, but yet now, the helper kept insisted to add 50 cents for the chilli. Hello, to have the audacity to charge extra 50 cents for chilli? Then you help pointing to him the signboard on the add extra 50 cents for chilli. Honestly I haven’t seen any stall charging extra for chilli ever before. My dad recounted the incident to us, we used to buy from you for 10 over years, I think however nice your food can be, good luck to your money-minded business. A little more chilli won’t eat up any of your expenses given the price you charge for your hokkien mee. Goodbye Tian Tian Dao Hokkien Mee.

This hokkien mee stall is one of my favourite. The noodles are cooked just nice; not too wet nor dry; and flavourful. When eaten together with the potent chilli, it is very delicious. The taste is still good even when I “tapau” it back home (from AMK to Tiong Bahru). My family members enjoyed it too! It makes a satisfying dinner!

The previous cook dishes better plates of Hokkien Mee. Felt slightly disappointed as the standards dropped with the new cook. Nonetheless, still a hearty meal if u stay in the neighbourhood. Beware of the chilli, it is addictive and very spicy!

If there is the worst Hokkein mee in Singapore, this is it. 4 SGD with no prawns at all, 50c for extra chilli and the owners were super rude. We had one bite and it tasted nothing like hokkien mee so we didnt even bother and threw away.

It's my first time trying out this stall's Hokkien Mee, I like how it's not dry at all, though the flavour cooked well into the noodles, there is still gravy left with the noodles. I'm surprised at reading the other reviews that the noodles are not cooked because I definitely ate well cooked noodles ? The chili though, is really spicy. So if you can't take spicy like me, don't have to request for more chili.

Thick Bee Hoon and Yellow Noodle combi. Hokkien Mee was more towards moist style. Pretty packed with savoury seafood flavours. Their chilli is Power as it's pack a spicy punch. Was abit shocked when I saw previous reviews as I was about to write mine. So maybe I'll just update what happen during my May 2022 visit. The price was $4, there's 2 prawn with some sotong and pork belly as ingredients. The portion was generous for $4. If you ever read my reviews before, you will know that I'm a chilli lover and when I ask for chilli, the stall aunty never said any additional charges. I do have to let other reviewer to know that inflation is at a scary pace. In 2020, chilli padi in supermarkets cost just 60¢, in 2022 it cost $1.50 and above. Personally won't mind paying extras as I do grocery shopping and aware of the ridiculous inflations. As for service. Just normal self service. Stall aunty did not give rude gesture toward me even when I asked for more chilli. And again, I've no affiliation with this stall and paid $8 for 2 plates. I even ordered a 2nd plate as I found the dish tasty. I did took out the prawns to make my photo more photogenic. Cheers.
