TIANN’S - 71 Seng Poh Rd

Enjoying my discovery of Tiann's! Second time back and it's simply so specially scrumptious! The Morning Goodness Breakfast was so healthy, but didn't forget to be delicious and filling! The french cream latte is a nice treat as well.

I enjoy going to Tiann’s for a light lunch and caffeine boost. I enjoy their iced honey latte with almond milk the most! Pictured is an iced matcha latte and the waffle with scrambled eggs and the smoked trout. The waffles were delicious! Also, it is a nice ambiance to relax, really bright and quiet.

We had the Hearty Breakfast and Morning Goodness . The Hearty Breakfast has Specialty scrambled eggs, avocado, fruits and greens, roasted mushrooms, and protein, served with their favorite farmer’s loaf, house made jam and French A.O.P butter. (Choice of protein: Smoked trout and dill yoghurt or Sausage and bacon) I chose sausage and bacon. The farmer's loaf is great with the jam and butter. Simply PERFECT! YUM YUM. A comforting breakfast. The portion is big for 1 person. I think it is great for sharing. The Morning Goodness is good for 1 pax. Their menu is on the pricy side but you know you are getting good quality ingredients. A great place for catching up with friends for breakfast

NO GLUTEN HERE! Fab gluten free cafe with plenty of natural light, space between tables, lovely service and a darn good chicken sandwich. Yet to try the GF waffles but they look amazing. No wifi but a good spot for an hour of work while you eat.

Hmmm. 4.5 stars so we went to try the food. The scrambled eggs and waffles were not too bad. Eggs was tasty. Even though waffles is not crispy, the texture and taste were acceptable especially with butter and maple syrup. We also had Kate’s lunchbox which was a disappointment. Really nothing fantastic. The flat white was also neh, rather light. The 100% French cream latte was nice but at $9 and such a small cup? One time is good enough ? Overall, once is good enough and be prepared to spend as portion are rather small.

Saturday morning. Quite crowded but managed a table for 2. On the expensive side. Likely due to the choices of ingredients and their promise for good healthy food. Had a single kaya toast ( farmer's loaf) and waffles topped with scrambled eggs and the other with smoked salmon. The kaya is nice, the fragrance of pandan, light and well-textured. Butter is nice, cut in blocks and pair well with the kaya. However, the toast disappointed me a little. Just not warm and toasted enough for me. Waffle with smoked salmon is special and love the smoked with a light acid taste to go with the carbo. However, scrambled eggs was shockingly salty and we could even bite bits of salt crusts on several bites. Coffee... On the sour side. Some people may like it. We won't return. For the price and got salty eggs and 'okay' toast. However, I am sure they serve other great food we have yet to experience. Hope diners have a good experience.

Came by after lunch for some caffeine shot, but was fairly disappointed despite the high ratings. Iced mocha was really heavy on coffee taste, with minimal to no chocolate taste. Likely due to it being chocolate bits which weren’t dissolved when served, not to my liking if this is intended. Also saw the adjacent table left with half the cup filled.. For $9.50, I’m expecting high standards. Dark chocolate looked aesthetically promising, but failed to deliver as well, with a lack of aftertaste and it not being thick in flavour.. Struggled to find any positive notes for the cafe at this price point unfortunately..

Not sure what's the rave about the waffles. Taste wise is normal, texture is the spongy, chewy type. Was hoping for the taste to make up for the underwhelming presentation.. o well. The coffee presentation was great, but the type of milk used and coffee beans combined didn't meet my expectations. 3 of 5 stars overall.
