Brought my ahma here and we had the Apple crumble and apple Kouign Amann. Will not recommend the Apple Kouign for old people because it has a hard texture and my ahma has no teeth, her dentures almost dropped out :0! However if you’re young and wild and have strong teeth, it tastes buttery and has a chewy texture, really good :-) The Apple crumble taste amazing as well. After I retire and collect my CPF money I will finally able be afford to come back here to dine again.

Always Crowded , Good for a local coffee , tea variation or Sandwich; though some of the food and service appears better at the Tiong Bahru or Fort Canning outlets . May be it’s the ambiance effect which makes the other outlets more cosy !

Don’t know why people being so harsh on the reviews lately because based on my last visit all we had there were ✅✅✅ (really that good). We ordered the kough amann & plain croissant, and they were SUPERBB to us! The croissant was flaky & got that decent buttery taste inside. The kough amann ??? very hard to describe this by words, you should try it on your own, they’re marvelous ! The pricing is quite fair for me as the ambiance was great, we came in for breakfast & had no queue at all. Will comeback again for sure.

Came here for breakfast, this is a nice cafe along the busy orchard road and is one of the better cafes for sure. Although not cheap (pastry was 4.5 and coffee large size is 7) the staff service was great There’s a sign that says cashless payment only so do take note, although I think most people should be fine with using pay wave etc

Have been here a couple of times and they’re always packed, even at 8am on weekday. Good that they’ve a few outlets around Singapore Some of the items are hit and misses. ? plain croissant (choose this over the flavoured ones. The famous green tea almond croissant is dry and flat - I tried twice and really don’t get the hype abt it. The plain one has flakes, layers, and buttery - all that you want in a croissant) ? kouign Amann - opt for this if you’re looking for a sugar rush ? lemon tart - classic, but very well done with the lemon zest Can’t tell abt the sandwiches - ain’t ppl here for bakes??? Minus one star due to the small seating area

Croissant is spot on compared to many other bakeries that sell them. Rich and scrumptious layers as it should be! Love how they offer jam too. Turmeric latte is interesting but sadly doesn't come in cold

The original croissant I had was excellent as usual, but I couldn’t say the same for the green tea one. It was very dry and tough, nothing like the fluffy original or the green tea croissants I’ve had from other outlets. The staff was nice enough to give us a replacement, but the replacement wasn’t that much better. Very nice staff here, but their green tea croissant could do with some work.
