★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible customer service, a younger girl was manning the cashier and she was giving the idgaf vibe. In terms of the pau, the lotus paste was slightly too little for the amount of pau. The char siew pau was not too bad in my opinion.
$0.80 for lotus paste pau
$1 for char siew pau

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Char siew pau is ok but pricey compared to other places. Filling is decent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The good - charsiu bao, I'll have it again. The bad - lomaikai. The queue builds up fast but it moves just as quickly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad attitude and service. Female seller aggressive like tiger - no human manner at all. Though it is said ‘good quality of bao’ which i evaluated not to that standard, that impolite attitude made me never come back. So guys be careful of the line and make fast order otherwise she may scold you

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although this store is called "tiong bahru pau", I only managed to try their siew mais and they did NOT disappoint. The meat was not overly minced and had good texture and flavour. I appreciated the little bits of vegetables inside as well which provided good contrast :) Very happy with this delicious morsel

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Char Siew pau and the big pau were pretty good. The chicken + pork big pau was delightfully tasty, despite not having a piece of egg that one would usually find in one. Dough skin is comparatively thin to other places, so I think it’s worth the price!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Four stars given to the male owner. To the stallowner: If you want good business, please don't ask your female seller to come here because her attitude sucks. I always come whenever the female seller wasnt around. Photo: female seller

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The male owner was very friendly and quite chatty. He said their big pau came with pork or chicken fillings, and that the main pork also had 20 per cent chicken added. The pau was tasty, and the skin was soft and not overly thick.
The char siu paus were also very good.
