Tasty soup and ytf but I prefer those where I can select the ytf pieces rather than a fixed allocation of 4 varieties with 2 pieces each for $5.50. Price is the same with or without noodles.

This traditional Yong Tao Hu Stall makes EVERYTHING from scratch! They are a whopping 30 years old. Situated at Tiong Bahru Estate, really loved their old school kopitiam feels. Super clean and white feel, pristine marble tiles, and the very β€œHuat” red text β€œTIONG BAHRU YONG TAO HU”. So we tried their Yong Tao Hu Beehoon Soup, Yong Tau Hu Laksa. All are priced at $6 for regular portions and $7 for laksa. The price has increased from previously. Their Yong Tao Hu ingredients are by default already selected for you – they include this max level fresh Tao Kee, along with fragrant and crispy on outside juicy on the inside Tao Kua. Their Yong Tao Hu ingredients are by default. Their traditional Ke-Jia style of Yong Tao Hu is seriously a MUST TRY. Soup is really really fresh and fragrant I cannot emphasize this enough! They own the entire outlet, so they also have two other stalls, one is the Drinks stall which also serves breakfast Toast sets with Kopi/Teh/etc and eggs, the standard kind. And also a Minced Meat Noodle Stall. Good food, great companion.

i always passed by this newly renovated coffeeshop but unsure how great the food is. My hubby brought me here today. Well, one bite into the tau kee, i found it to be overly salty. The rest of the YTF are ok. Not enough vegetables. The best YTF? I think not. Above average? Yes. But price is above average too. One thing's for sure, the chilli sauce is fiesty and good though not as fiesty as Eng Seng's WTM. But it goes very well with the YTF. What else is good? The coffee shop has a cafe feel. Well-spaced out and clean. Would i travel or queue for this YTF? not likely.

The price is $5.50 for the YTF, it’s fixed with 2 fish balls, 1 tofu, 1 tao pok, 3 long strips I think they are tao kee. Soup is tasty and ingredients are fresh.

Delicious bowl of ytf. Definitely one of the best around with great ingredients and very tasty soup. Might be a little more on the salty side for the people who prefer the more clean tasting version but there’s a good depth to the soup. Coffee is good too. Will be back more often!

Popular hangout for yong tau fu lovers. The place is not exactly accessible but is within vicinity of public transport (public buses, about 1km walk from the nearest Tiong Bahru MRT). There are only 2 sizes available and the menu is very streamlined i.e. no choosing of ingredients, all come as a set. You can only opt for with or without rice vermicelli (bee hoon). The taste was good and on the stronger side, the ingredients were juicy. After several visits quality has been consistent.

I gotta say this YTF has a long historical timeline if you don’t know. They are probably there before I was even born! ? I recall it was a hot, stuffy and rundown coffeeshop during then with one of the stores selling Wu Xiang. I guess the boss had either sold the business away or had decided to modernise the place. YTF still maintain its standard. Love their yummy fish beancurd. Now not only they sell YTF, there is Tom Yam Ba Chor Mee as well. You guys can try it out when you are there. If you do have enough space, do order their kaya butter toast. Oh boy, I gotta say their toast is so good that no one tasted better than this! Bread is thick and full of fragrant.
