Behind the mask I could smell the fragrance of the porridge. Generous slices of liver, intestines n decent size of pork balls with good bite. The crunchy watercress adds a different level to the porridge. The taste was just right, no need to add any sauce. Love it n i definitely come again.

One of the best / freshest Cantonese porridge place in town. Can customize the ingredients you'd like to add it. Also has you-tiao, pork liver, intestines and option to add in a raw egg. Normally only opens in the morning from 7am to 9:30-10am.

a former glory of xian ji. porridge is watery. the pork isn't as fresh. not sure if the supplier changed or what, but it's not that awesome. I can share many other places which can beat this place. but it's more like a tourist trap. I also paid 6 dollars for pork porridge, apparently with egg it's 6 dollar. even a normal congee stall which have a much better taste cost only 2.50. maybe 3 with egg. can try. u will understand what I mean.

The porridge is good , it come as watery but the trick is to wait for a minutes or two before eating as it got soak up. Although they serve to your table , it at $6.5 with egg, it not the normal pricing you expected .

Good porridge. Price @ higher side but it's still OK given it is in a clean restaurant environment and the liao is a lot.

Authentic Cantonese style porridge. Very flavourful. Perfect texture. Generous serving of meat and century egg. A little pricey due to location but good value. Quiet relaxing ambience to soak in the old school feeling.

This small Cantonese porridge stall is located at a corner in the Thai restaurant Little Elephant. It starts selling porridges with fish slices, pork and pig innards early in the morning until they are sold out, usually by 10am. The two aunties manning the stall are friendly. The porridge was OK but not exceptionally good in terms of taste and generosity in ingredients. Each bowl with one added ingredient (eg. egg, century egg, watercress) was about $7. Do note that prices are not indicated anywhere. Nonetheless, a pleasant place to relive the old vibes.

Century Egg Pork Porridge with Watercress. When I heard about the unusual combination of watercress in porridge, I was intrigued (yes, I am a watercress soup fan!) and decided to make plans to visit this morning only porridge stall. The watercress actually provides a superb crunch in the porridge.
