★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely friendly and generous hawker. He was asking me if the rice is enough, what chicken parts I like. Upon serving he wiped the rim of the bowl to remove the curry and gave me some tissue cos "you may need it when you eat".
The curry tasted home cooked. Lacked the typical sweetness of commercial curries, maybe because less msg was used. I didn't feel thirsty at all after the meal.
Can try, support this v nice hawker.
*note, he may have offered choice of chicken parts because he was closing. Don't expect the same all the time

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly uncle is 1st thing that comes to mind. I like the warmly toasted bread next. Perfect with curry. As for the curry itself, its good for most but I'd prefer a bit spicier. Chicken is tender, chicken thigh and drumstick. Potato will be better if cooked longer as I prefer really soft. Price is very reasonable $5 with bread. More worth than any other stall in this hawker.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looking for a tasty and filling meal? This would be my new go-to place to replenish my spirit. The curry has a good balance of consistency and richness, great flavour and spiciness. I had the curry mee but if you prefer the bread for gravy dipping, each bun is carefully warmed in the oven for just the right crispness. The portion was generous especially from a price point. Chef is meticulous in his preparation as one who takes pride in his creation would. He is friendly, personable and thoughtful. Shop opens on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday only.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying and would say whilst it's not the best it's satisfying to a point.
Very generous serving of chicken drum and thigh that makes up for the curry that somewhat is not your usual.
But then again it's an individual taste.
Bread is also fantastic by the way.
Seller is friendly and always with a warm smile. ?
